Please don’t respond by telling me not to do this and reminding me what women are far more than just their bodies because that is obviously true and I know that…. I just want to feel happy and attractive in my own body, and currently I don’t.

I've always had really tiny boobs (28C/30B which actually looks like an A cup) and have always really disliked them. I know it's really silly but I just feel like less of a woman with them being this small. They used to be even smaller when I had anorexia years ago as a teen, they were a 28B (looks like a small A).

I want to be seen as sexy and desirable by the right man and I don’t see that happening with small breasts. Please don’t say sexiness is an attitude because we all know there is a strong visual element to it for men, it’s clear, and boobs are a big draw for them.

I just want some cleavage. Has anyone had breast implants and how did it go?

thanks. X

Do you seriously think I care about you, a stranger on the internet. I think breast implants are dangerous, but as long as no one I care about has them, that’s as far as my concern goes. Same as smoking and excessive drinking.

Yes because they are exactly the same. 🙄

Just make sure you still get scans as you won't be able to have a mammogram. My dear friend died from breast Cancer after a boob job because it was behind the implant .

You absolutely can have a mammogram with implants.

Things have changed obviously. This was in the 80s .

Had mine done about 32yrs ago with silicone over the muscle. Was a spur of the moment decision and I picked a clinic out of the back of a magazine. I'm slimmer now than I was, they're a little bigger than I'd choose now and with hindsight I wouldn't do it but they've been no problem and I won't have them removed unless I have to. They do balance my figure better and DH loves them. I've had 3 mammograms and no issues.

Off thread, but I had my implants put in 8 years ago and I’ve not had a mammogram since then. I worry about damage to the implants. Have you had any problems? I’m 62.

xino · 08/08/2026 20:17

Is it only men who like larger breasts that you want to attract OP?

Boreded · 08/08/2026 20:24

I am not at all against surgery, if someone wants it then they should get it.

HOWEVER…do it for YOU and how it makes YOU feel, not because you think a man will like you more for it. Do it only if YOU like yourself more for it, fuck what men think, the right one will love you big or small.

Well more fool them, fresh lumps of poison in your body 👏🏻

Aren’t you a treat.
I hated mine, caused me so much anxiety
wanted a normal shape, not size

i saved for surgery in the UK at Spire with a respected surgeon..

10 years later my uplift, nipple reduction and small implant are better than ever

I’m not a fool

I‘m glad they made you feel better about yourself, but you can’t think they are good for you? That’s my point.

I would be very concerned about “breast implant illness”

there is this YouTuber I was subscribed to for over a decade. She for years complained of mystery illness. Severe fatigue, brain fog, joint pain. said she felt awful, depression, hair loss. She really did look awful! They couldn’t figure out what it was.

turned out to be the breast implants.

She had them removed and all symptoms went away.

I then looked up and quite a few people experienced same thing.

Edited

I’ve seen lots of women posting about their ‘explant’ stories on Instagram too.

OP Id look into fat transfer if you really want something done

Bogstandardname · 09/08/2026 09:30

I paid.lot.of.money for mine and they were fine for about 6 years. Cut a long uncomfortable story short, developed an infection, paid a lot more money to have them taken out and my original tiny but pert breasts now look like deflated balloons. Massive regrets but not prepared for more unnecessary vanity surgery and more plastic stick in the front of my chest. I would say don't do it and remember that they don't last forever and will need renewing down the line.

RoseField1 · 09/08/2026 09:35

I have a close friend who had them in her 20s when she was a dancer and she said they helped her make more money but now she's a mum in her 40s she wishes she'd never done it. They have long expired but she doesn't want the expense and risk of changing them, even removing them is too much and she fears she would have no breasts left if they were completely removed.
I have tiny breasts, not only that but I have hypoplastic breasts so they aren't very attractive in appearance. It has honestly never impacted on my ability to attract male partners or how sexy they find me. My DH is obsessed with them. I decided back in my early twenties that I needed to accept them and not be ashamed or embarrassed and my attitude changed. That's what you need, not surgery.

RoseField1 · 09/08/2026 09:39

Mrstawnyowl · 07/08/2026 22:48

Apparently anything more than a handful is a waste. I can’t remember who told me that.

As someone who has slept with both men and women, large breasts are visually interesting but when you're up close with them they are not as enjoyable as smaller ones. The appearance is less important than the feel and honestly all breasts feel pretty similar. Apart from the fake pair I 'met' once which I did not like at all. They had no malleability and the woman didn't seem to have any real sensation from them.

RoseField1 · 09/08/2026 09:41

chedderland · 08/08/2026 02:30

They often look awful. Men aren’t settling if they are with someone with a small chest. Some men don’t like bigger boobs. And men who aren’t shallow won’t care either

Most straight men just like boobs. They really aren't fussy about size or shape.

Roundthemaypole · 09/08/2026 09:41

Travellingshoes · 08/08/2026 19:17

You can have a mammogram, but research has shown that implants can make abnormalities harder to detect.

Countrysu · 09/08/2026 09:41

Instagram has a lot to answer for 😞

RoseField1 · 09/08/2026 09:42

starlightstarbright6 · 08/08/2026 02:50

So, what if they only went for you because you had a big chest? You getting implants does not solve that problem. Your comment seems to imply it is all about the body.

You want them to be with you for who you are, not to “settle” for small boobs or for the clincher to be having big boobs. I’m not understanding how this solves anything.

From someone who has a similarly small chest - completely understand your feelings, just not your reasoning

She's internalised the belief that men are only attracted to large breasts so if a man is sexually interested in her he must be settling for something below his usual standard. It's sad, and misguided.

Barney16 · 09/08/2026 09:49

I wish I had mine done when I was young. I'm 60 now so I guess I'm probably too old. I'm very slim so small boobs sort of fit with that but there's lots of things I don't wear because I have literally nothing to fill a top out. No man I have ever slept with has seemed remotely bothered though OP but if it would make you feel more confident and you can afford it why not?

fantom · 09/08/2026 09:57

Empress13 · 08/08/2026 00:27

Genuine question how does one feel for lumps especially if bedded in deep? That alone would deter me tbh especially having BC in the family

Does anyone know the answer to this? I’ve lost weight recently and my boobs have shrunk so was vaguely considering implants, but I’d worry about missing signs of BC.

LemonPenguin · 09/08/2026 10:00

Mine are AA, and i found them to be an excellent screening tool to weed out the kind of man who prioritises big boobs, those men are not for me! I never had any trouble finding decent men. And I breastfed three children with them. I did wish they were bigger when I was in my early 20s, but grew to love them. Attraction is built on so much more than the size of your breasts. Sorry you feel the way you do. I know you said that comments like this weren’t welcome, but I feel lots of small breasted younger people will read this thread and want to reassure others that there is absolutely nothing wrong with having small breasts!

Jllllllll · 09/08/2026 15:31

Be aware that having larger boobs, particularly as you get older, can end up just making you look larger than you are as dresses and tops hang differently

Seahorses26 · 09/08/2026 15:39

I had it 3 months ago, my only regret is not to have done it years ago after I had all my children.
I did go for a natural shape and size, hardly anyone has noticed, they look great, exactly what I had before having children and breastfeeding. I also had very little pain and was able to go on with my life and go back to work after 5 days.

daisydaisydais128 · 07/08/2026 22:02

I know that some men will shag anything, but I don’t want to be settled for like that to be honest.

But you want someone who would have rejected you without a boob job?
