AIBU to worry about large numbers of undocumented men arriving in Spain?

Thousands of young men from Morocco and beyond swimming to Spain. Spain obviously has encouraged the problem with their amnesty for existing migrants, but thousands more arriving with no means of support and undocumented is going to cause huge problems. Large numbers will no doubt be ultimately trying to reach the UK.

It’s harsh, but we cannot accept infinite numbers of men.

It's easy really. If you believe illegal immigrants don't pose a threat, crack on and lower your guard. Just don't try to lecture the rest of us on who we have to fear more. Being compassionate doesn't stop you from being attacked.

Hungary keeps getting fined by the EU for not taking their "quota" of migrants, but they say that paying the fine is cheaper than having to feed, educate, and house migrants that don't fit in and don't want to.

Women in Morocco are less likely to be able to swim than men - so that helps explain it.

Yes net migration is down because all of those highly educated doctors/engineers and teachers are off to other countries for a better life. Then all if those high net worth people who spend lots here no longer come.
Instead we get young uneducated men from a very different culture coming here. What could possibly go wrong?

Spain's migrants are housed in camps. The ones that come across the Med that is.

Morrocans are largely Arabic and French speaking.

the country has a long standing relationship with France. I don’t think it was actually a colony - but the foreign language taught in schools there is French usually.

few Moroccans speak English, those who do are largely working with tourists - again most tourists are French with a fair number of others.

Morrocans in general therefore are not aiming for England. Traditionally they do agricultural work in Spain or southern France or italy when they do migrate.

But Poland isn’t an island. If we had a massive fence with armed guards and no HRA and no Supreme Court then yeah we could do what they do but if a dinghy full of human beings are in the channel and about to sink we have an obligation to go and save them. And thanks to Brexit we can’t just send them back to France.

The ones doing the mental gymnastics to say it's ok will soon see how their leafy lovely villages and naive areas will change in the next decade. We are full up north.
