And I don't think you will regret it. Underneath the silliness, there is an intelligent man with a genuine commitment to democracy. He might be a joker, but I believe he would serve you well if elected. And definitely better than Farage.

I’m more annoyed that tax payers money is being used for this and the same with the Makerfield by election too. We are constantly told ‘ there’s no money ‘ yet millions are being found for this.

I agree. You just have to look at how Zelenskyy is doing to see the Count has just a good as chance. I think Jon would do a really good job.

I felt a bit sorry for the people on the beach who were hi jacked by a bbc presenter yesterday to ask about it in Clacton. They clearly didn’t know about the money he had received and didn’t seem very informed about why his doing this. I know many people who don’t follow politics and don’t take any notice, but it felt like a coup ‘ oh let’s find people who don’t have much of a clue’ :(

He actually sounds pretty "sound" underneath all the jokes and the bin on his head!
I'd vote for him if I was in Clacton.

If this heatwave gets even worse cos I’m forced to spend my whole summer not just explaining Count BinFace to Italians, but then having to explain why he’s obliged to remove just the lid in parliament cos he won….. I may actually melt.

So far all I’ve managed to make sense to him is a successful translation of the name.

And I’m not sure it’s helped my case much. He’s still stuck on radical concept of Count Binface not having an ID card at all times.

I read that the bin count wants 99 ice cream cornets to cost 99p. I know it’s not funny what is going on, but it did make me smile. He also wants hand dryers in public loos to actually work.. he may have a problem with the toilets in my local big supermarket where even the actual loos don’t work most of the time or one is out of order.

His stated policies are to build at least one affordable house, cap the price of 99 flakes at 99pence, nationalise Adele, and force water company executives to swim in the rivers they say they’re not polluting.

Im not entirely sure how nationalising Adele works, but I’m willing to hear him out and the other policies all sound good to me.

I avoid Clacton now , but I used to take the children when they were little and it wasn’t a bad day out , it has a pier and fish and chips and a big high street. It isn’t posh, but like many places it is struggling and many big stores have left. It could probably do with a lot of money pumping into it, but that won’t happen.
Even less now more is needed for a by election that nobody wants apart from Mr Farage.

This bin count sounds quite credible with some of the policies then, shame he doesn’t want to build more affordable housing than just one though.

Many people never engage in politics. I expect they were representative of a lot of people.

Many people don't watch news bulletins much if at all either.

Binface is a national treasure. I hope he wins. I almost never feel proud to be British but I do when I think of Binface and all he stands for.

I doubt anyone from Clacton will even look at this post so you're wasting your time. if you feel strongly, get out and canvas in Clacton.

I used to go to Walton and Frinton a lot, as a child, growing up in Essex. I always found the Le Sokens amusing - course they were soken, they’re near the sea. Ahem. Anywaaay, just discovered this - this explains everything about why Nige chose that district…
