Was at a seemingly lovely wedding at the weekend. Beautiful setting and lovely ceremony.

One of my friends was chief bridesmaid and she had put so much effort into making the day perfect for the happy couple. But she started to drink a lot after the ceremony and by the end of dinner she was very tipsy and all over the singer from the wedding band. They had been playing some acoustic songs throughout the day and she kept making requests. It was obvious she fancied him.

Later on, one of the other guys from the band was lovely and asked if I had seen their singer because they were setting up for their evening set. I mentioned that my friend was also missing so went to look for them together. We joked that maybe they had eloped or something.

But nothing prepared me for what I was about to witness. Behind the outdoor toilets, my friend was down on her knees giving the singer from the band oral. I was mortified and the other guy from the band told me his friend had done this a few times. We are not even sure if they seen us and I’ve been too embarrassed to bring it up with my friend.

On the up side, the other guy from the band was really sweet and we danced a bit later that night and swapped numbers.

I was once head bridesmaid, and offered my hotel room up for the after party. As soon as I got back I immediately fell asleep in the bed, but the party and the drama) unfolded.

Apparently a group of revellers came back to see guest F giving guest M a BJ in the bed that I was also sound asleep snoring in, Unfortunately guest F's boyfriend was in the group, and he happened to be guest M's best friend an business partner.

Cue a blazing row and a punch up all in the room with me snoring, oblivious on the bed.

Was once at a wedding where there were a bunch of class A drug-fuelled fights, the police were called to an upstairs room at the hotel where it was really kicking off and an unconscious - and much older - guy who'd OD'd (didn't die) was found in bed with a guest's 16 year old boy. The night before the wedding, in the local pub with friends and family, the groom's mother got very drunk and repeatedly said he should have stayed with his ex (pure snobbery as ex was an Earl's daughter) and how the bride to be wasn't good enough for him. She became so insulting and obnoxious that her nephew (big lad) picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and took her home. The day of the wedding she didn't attend due to a "migraine".
