What's pissing us all off today?

What's pissing me off today is a misogynistic man trying to throw me under a bus today on Teams in front of 30 colleagues ranging from my level to five levels above me.

I had messages from five different people during the call asking if I was OK.

The man is like bloody Teflon - no grievances seem to stick to him. I left work early and went the pub with the dog. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

I'm here to ask for solidarity for anyone else who is thoroughly pissed off today and see if we can fume together.

Not being able to sleep because the wanker next door still hasn't moved his speakers from next to my wall

I've had to ask my parents if I can stay at theirs because this is becoming unbearable

I work in a physical job-we don't sit down all shift

I trapped a nerve in my hip a few weeks ago and the pain was nothing like I've ever felt before (it's because they think nothing of sending me up and down stairs-i can do 100 trips up and down an hour on a steady day)

It was off the scale-childbirth was a breeze compared to this pain-painkillers didn't touch the sides

I was off work for 5 weeks and only went back when I did because I cant afford to live on sick pay

I handed in a note from my doctor,saying I cant do x/y/z,but will need to sit down for a few minutes when I need to and they are trying to ignore it (telling me to 'just do x/y/z' and refusing to allow me to sit down) and you can tell they think i was skiving when I was off

I'm not known as a piss taker (the real piss takers seem to have them dancing to their tune and get away with everything and do nothing) and am known for working hard

I couldn't walk last night,I was clinging between a sink and a wall at one point and the sneering from the main manager was obvious

'Oh for goodness sake della,you need to take this order to table 7,another to the pull forward and another upstairs,we have nobody else to do it!'

What part of 'i cannot fucking move' do you not understand? (Part of my fit note is 'cannot go up and down stairs')

I said to dp the other day that I should just make a show of myself by sitting in the corner,crying all shift and shouting about my mental health like the pisstakers do-a few shifts of that and they'd back off and allow me to get away with doing nothing

Oh,and we have an ants nest in the building

All my fault apparently as I was the one who noticed it

She reacted like I'd personally planted ants next to the sugars just to spite her

What have occupational health said?

I've not spoken to anyone apart from the bosses
I'm going to have to speak to them as this is a joke
I almost lost it at smug manager-she thinks shes top dog (her sister is the main manager so she gets away with a lot) thankfully one of my colleagues took over and I ended up going home slightly early

@Delladuck , its the same in my work. The lazy bastards get away with it because no managers can deal with them. The workers like you and me get shit thrown from a high height because managers know we'll get on with it.

We have a couple (husband and wife but it's a looonnnggg story about how they got together)

The story unfolded at work,we where all forced to watch it-and it was grim

She ended up pregnant and the moaning that she was pregnant and couldn't do it (another colleague was having twins and was just fine-im saying this as someone who struggled herself being pregnant)

Tears,tantrums and endless moaning about every tiny little thing and 5 ambulances called out for nothing over 6 months-she just wanted attention and to get off shift (of course he had to leave too to be with her)

She went off on maternity and we all breathed a massive sigh of relief

Fuck me,he went off a week later claiming 'mental health' (or his own version of maternity leave)

2 1/2 years until work forced them back and now we're back to the sobbing,wailing,howling and moaning every moment they are on shift (together-they cannot cope without each other)

They get no work done-they are paid to cry and moan in the corner

I pull a nerve in my hip (as I say,it was caused by work and very painful) and I'm treated like a pisstaker!

Flipping Long Covid. I used to be so active and now have to keep sitting down after a short burst of energy. Drives me nuts, but if I don't pace myself, it results in a day on the sofa/ in bed. Can't travel much now.
ALSO - listening to flipping useless politicians sounding surprised that someone - a fighting age man - who arrived illegally on a boat, is one of a number of people smugglers now settled in the UK and driving around the place without a driving licence. It took the BBC to find them. Stop pussy footing around. Forget the human rights angle for now. DEPORT ILLEGALS immediately.

I have an inflammed achilles tendon that is killing me. Big puffy foot that only fits in the saddest of sandals. Have hobbled around for 2 months.
Frozen shoulder has now decided that it might as well rear its ugly head. Feeling very sorry for myself today.
Pissed off with the world,particularly people who can wear nice sandals and don't hobble.

Annoyed with myself for not being able to get myself together and get into a proper routine with my ADHD, and feel like I'm wasting my days and my life, trying to get stuff and packed lunches together to leave the house and do nice things with little one without spending a fortune on taxis and take out food.
