What's pissing us all off today?

What's pissing me off today is a misogynistic man trying to throw me under a bus today on Teams in front of 30 colleagues ranging from my level to five levels above me.

I had messages from five different people during the call asking if I was OK.

The man is like bloody Teflon - no grievances seem to stick to him. I left work early and went the pub with the dog. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

I'm here to ask for solidarity for anyone else who is thoroughly pissed off today and see if we can fume together.

Joking aside, I’m really starting to resent him as there is mess everywhere. He is a hoarder too, so all manner of broken crap is kept just in case it could be used as spares or mended in the future. He doesn’t see the irony in spending thousands of pounds on building sheds to store all this useless crap. I’m at my wits end

I'm pissed off as I took my ds (16) to a group for yp with autism that I had called before hand and explained that he a lot of needs and was severe which they said was fine as the group was for kids with asd. We turned up and the group was inappropriate and he was by far the most disabled with the rest of the yp more quirky. I hate that even groups that are supposed to be for him are so far out of his reach. That isn't a gripe against the other kids but a gripe against the lack of groups for him.

I'm pissed off that while we're in the middle of decorating, umpteen family members at umpteen different times drop in for a cuppa.

My young adult kids seem to need me more and more as they get older. When will I be free from all this?

I am laid up with horrendous ankle injury. I had operation 2 weeks ago with metal plates and screws installed. Total agony. I have been totally on my own since getting home. My darling son just wants me to send him money for plumbing problems but hasn’t been near me. Tonight is particularly bad as he was to come see me tomorrow night but made his excuses. I made the mistake of being annoyed and now he has blocked me. Thank god for ankle scooters upstairs and down or I would have starved. It has taught me to not be in a position to depend on anyone even for moral support.

Day 12 of the summer virus from hell. No signs of improvement - just switching from symptom to symptom. I could cry.

I'm SO immensely pissed off that DH has put off paying his half for new windows that we desperately need. I got several quotes last spring and he's just dragged his heels saying we need the money for 'other things' (no idea what they are because we have a massive list of things we need doing, and none of them have been done).

He spent most of last winter complaining about how cold it was because the windows are knackered, and now he spends every evening huffing and puffing about how hot it is upstairs and he can't sleep, and he's so tired at work, yadda yadda yadda.

No fucking shit Dave (not his real name). We can't open the bedroom windows that's why it's like a bloody sauna in here. Stop your fucking whinging and stump up.

Now it's going to cost more to do what we could have done last year. And I suppose I'll have to organise it, as usual...

I can relate to that last sentence. Why do so many men expect their lives to be run for them? It’s so exhausting and demoralising

I’ve just found out that there are plans for two padel courts to be built about 50m from my house. Am so sad and angry, and apprehensive about the noise. Will do all I can to object to the plans.

Maybe she is unwell and trying to cope?

I'm feeling like shit because I've got tonsillitis! 😫Swallowing is a huge challenge, and ice cream and yogurt and cold drinks is all I can get down. I ache from head to toe, and I hardly slept last night because of the stabby pains in my throat. Woe is me. 😢

Well Dave, they will be in exactly the same place the current ones are because that's where the big holes in the walls are. They will be see-through, they will open and close, and they will look like pretty much every other double-glazed window you have ever seen. If there's a problem, I can pretty much guarantee that you will do fuck-all about it and leave it to me to deal with, so no need for you to worry poppet.

We had a snail rats nest under the house. Traps were set by the pest controller and must have been successful as the whole downstairs now smells like putrid dead rat. Dh is away for work leaving me to deal with three kids, three dogs and a currently unlivable house.

Honestly I'm impressed with the agility I shall never display again along with the self-restraint I showed in not burning the house down.
That particular horror was the 3rd in 24 hours and I am beyond terrified of them.
I know it's mating season but those horny fuckers can go creeping for a shag somewhere that isn't here.

I'm pissed off that I have to sit in traffic chaos because so many drivers don't get the concept of zipper merging.
On the upside tomorrow is a bank holiday and I have the rest of the week off. Time to crack the 🍷 open.

I’m pissed off that my daughter is on the other side of the world and hasn’t bothered to even read my last WhatsApp message from 3 days ago let alone reply! Yes there’s a time difference, but we know the good windows and she’s just letting them roll by! Meanwhile it’s now gone 2am, I’ve got horrendous hayfever, work in the morning plus travel to an event and can’t sleep with those little worries creeping in! Honestly sometimes - bloody kids!

We had hundreds in our loft and walls - the smell passes very quickly! Make sure you get a professional exterminator to come and find where they got in to your house and block it up so you don’t get a second infestation like we did - it was even worse than the first one 😕

Summer colds and flu are just as awful as in the winter. Absolutely get blaming allergies for a long period.
