What's pissing us all off today?

What's pissing me off today is a misogynistic man trying to throw me under a bus today on Teams in front of 30 colleagues ranging from my level to five levels above me.

I had messages from five different people during the call asking if I was OK.

The man is like bloody Teflon - no grievances seem to stick to him. I left work early and went the pub with the dog. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

I'm here to ask for solidarity for anyone else who is thoroughly pissed off today and see if we can fume together.

One of my fans broke last night. Moved it across and one of the supports that holds the blade cage snapped off. It was 32 years old. Got 1 other fan

This morning I ordered a replacement. Had to check the delivery date as a couple on Amazon said will said delivery on 2nd SEPT!

Ordered one and found an Amazon locker on a slight diversion from my journey to the office tomorrow. You probably can predict that the fan won’t be delivered until late evening. No lockers were available nearer.

Pissed off to get stuck at temporary traffic lights. There is about 200m coned off with no sign of any work being done.

Dont cone off sections of road and put up temp traffic lights until work has started

My DH- work cancelled today (materials delayed so can’t work) so he laid in his phone all day and done nothing in the house at all, I have come home from work cooked dinner and done washing - sooooooo angry

On holiday abroad with DH who has mobility issues and needs to use a scooter .
I’m VERY pissed off at those locals ( obvs can tell by their car registration plates ) who park over dropped kerbs, and park in disabled bays .
It took a long time for the municipalities here to provide these facilities - and now it seems very few people want to abide by the rules.

Been to a hospital appointment which involved limbs being rolled to check joints.

Come home in pain to find the house next door but one(terrace) has been sandblasted and it's obvious it wasn't sheeted. Front of house is full of sand, window cleaner came yesterday grrr.

Please take photos ( and upload them to this thread ) if they have to resort to that !!

Another uni, another restructure here. Getting rid of the dead wood would be one thing that could help but they never do that. Instead the rest of us pick up the slack. Contemplating quiet quitting.

My family have a habit of dumping everything in the washbin that was sitting around in their bedrooms - the day before we go away. Either I do it all that day, when I've got other things to organise (plus there is too much washing to fit on the line) or I leave it till we get back, and return to a pile of holiday washing plus a pile of pre-holiday washing.

(And yes, it will be me doing it, I seem to be the washing fairy.)

I find comic sans difficult because it has uneven spaces and poorly shaped. Realise I must be an exception. Also have ADHD which impacts reading skills so that could be a factor too.

People at work having "private" conversations infront of me in hushed voices. Waiting for me to leave or stopping talking if I pass.... find somewhere else to talk!

Right now, my neighbours are celebrating the football. Loudly, in their garden, and it’s keeping DD awake. They’re not even my direct neighbours, but half way down the row, which gives some idea how loud they’re being.

Next door and hoe loud his music is. I want a wee in peace and not have to listen to his music

Pissed off that I arrived to a shitty email from a colleague (who I line manager) essentially bollocking me for something that hadn’t happened. If they were less incompetent and less self righteous I would have not spent the day with a massive cob on and eaten my body weight in Jaffa cakes.

My sensory processing system. I'm autistic, and lucky that I don't usually feel these things most of the time. Today for some reason though, it's like everything has turned up to 11. I can't bear either the sensation of wearing my hair in a ponytail or having my hair down. I'm too aware of my own teeth. The ground hurts my feet when I walk. Everything is too loud and too bright. Overhearing conversation sets my teeth on edge.
I have to be in the office tomorrow and pretend I'm a normal functioning human being.
