2 Tier Britain and Policing - Digwa

Wellwhatnowbellaboo · Yesterday 09:12

Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

The police in Hampshire have put in a simplistic training system for racism which has contributed to this horrific case. It is awful. Our society is now very complicated and multi racial. That does not mean policing failing to deal with actual reality rather than imposing a training framework that means your own judgment can be suspended.

Funny isn't it how riots against the police shouting defund the police are fine when it's during the country's lockdown period. Not only that but the cause is discussed in places of education. No cries of hate and division, but anger when it's acknowledged every single life matters.

It was always going to happen that a party like reform would rise because since George Floyd and all of the grovelling statements about never again what has happened now? Silence from the cabinet. That silence is a statement that only some suffering counts. So a new form of racism is what we have now … not of yobs but of the institution

We definitely still have racist yobs.

Should the Home Secretary or PM be visiting Southampton?

You couldn't hear one of the men talking about being called racist names by Henry?

Not at the point when he was saying he had been stabbed, no. Earlier, yes, but that is not what the post I was replying to was saying.

Yes, of all persuasion.

You haven't read the thread I was replying to. Yes, I know he said it earlier, and I never at any point denied that. It was a perfectly genuine question. I was simply inquiring whether the police were claiming that they were unaware Henry had been stabbed because at the relevant point they were listening to those accusations.

If you want to know what stupidity and gaslighting look like, look at your own comment. Lying about what someone has said in order to attack them is the epitome of gaslighting.

Yes, of all persuasion.

Well today, as in 2024, I’d like to do something about the ones throwing bins around Southampton.

If you can't understand basic English, you shouldn't accuse others of being stupid.

The simple fact is that a large proportion of the more rabid racists have absolutely appalling English. You regularly see social media posts and signs which are very badly spelt and full of basic grammatical mistakes, and it's perfectly clear that they're not all dyslexic. Yet they claim to be intensely patriotic. If they were genuinely patriotic, they would take more care with their country's language, and they would take pride in showing off the effects of the free education which their country has given them - but they can't be bothered.

Of course you would. I would like to address the cause and not the sympton.

Oh and before you come back at me with something else, here read it yourself…. Straight off the gov website!

https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/home-secretary-statement-on-henry-nowak

It clearly says
“Digwa murdered Henry and then lied about him, as he lay dying, falsely accusing him of racism. It was an evil act and I know the thoughts of the whole House will now be with Henry’s family and his friends just as mine are.”

FFS, why all this aggression in answer to a straightforward question?

Unfortunately, however, that quote doesn't answer it.

What are you talking about the thread you was replying to??? You quoted ME and said this!

“Is that the excuse the police have actually given? I couldn't hear anyone in the video talking about racism at the point when they were dealing with Henry.”

I replied to you! It’s pretty clear what you was talking about and yes it is gaslighting!

How is any of that relevant to Henry Nowak's death?

Because you quoted me and basically denied that the “racism” card was used!

No, I absolutely didn't deny that there was a racism claim. I simply queried the time the accusation was being made. You are making things up again.

What’s that got to do with racism! Pathetic! Get a life

I had the same interrogation yesterday from another poster. It's all deflection tactics to deny the country has a massive problem with two tier policing.

I agree. The amount of of denial is unreal

AlecTrevelyan006 · Today 08:58

It does not appear to me that protestors (online or on the streets), or the British public in general see Sikhs as the issue here. They take this as a bad apple that could be from within any British community.

The issue is the police policy clearly discriminated against a white victim. Within the ranks of protestors, whilst predominantly white, are various ethnicities and races.

Flyingintotheunknown · Today 08:55

Again, why so aggressive? I was making a general observation about the claims of many racists that they're patriotic when so many of them post illiterate drivel on social media and produce banners full of bad grammar and spelling. If someone really takes pride in their country, they take the trouble to use its language properly and show the effects of the education the British taxpayer gave them.

Again, I asked a question. I didn't deny anything. I wanted to know the answer. Where is the gaslighting?
