2 Tier Britain and Policing - Digwa

Wellwhatnowbellaboo · Yesterday 09:12

Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

No, you are presuming that's why he is condoning it. I'm done.

I didn't suggest he was condoning anything. I described what we can all see, namely Farage using this for political purposes.

CarbootJunction · Yesterday 15:49

Every time a white person dies at the hands of a person of colour, Nigel Farage wins a few more votes.

NovemberMorn · Yesterday 15:51

CaesarAugusta · Yesterday 15:43

Nope. You're sadly demonstrating a lack of basic comprehension skills there.

Think about it. Would this thread exist if a politician hadn't chosen to make lots of political points about the murder?

Edited

I was referring to LuckyHazelFox and there is nothing wrong with my comprehension skills.

No-one should be exempt from enforcing the law based on race

Is anyone?

This is why London has so much knife crime.

What do you suppose is the cause of knife crime outside of London? Say in Middlesbrough, Teesside and the like?

Probably because of the masses of illegals who were sent to live in Middlesbrough as its Labour council gets paid for every one.
They don’t give a shiny shit how it affects the areas that these men - and yes it’s nearly all men - have been moved into. Seriously it’s like the third world. It’s dirty, scruffy beyond belief, dangerous, full of shops that won’t cater to white women even if I wanted to go in them. Knives, illegal cars, drugs - all there.
Shopkeepers and familys who have been there for decades -some more that 100 yrs- forced out. It’s absolutely devastating for the people of Middlesbrough.

My mum doesn’t dare go into the town anymore.

Oh we did read what you said, it was very clear for all to see. Now return the courtesy and explain WHY you think it's ok for a murdered boys vigil to be hijacked by the ' refugees welcome,' brigade? You didn't answer my earlier question either - would you deem it also acceptable if a far right group protesting against immigration attended the funeral of a victim of racism such as Bhim kohil? If not, why not?

You clearly did not read what I said

This thread exists because of 2 tier policing which was demonstrated in Dec by the murder of Henry and the assumption that the man of colour was telling the truth and the white man in a pool of blood was a racist. This threads got nothing to do with Nigel Farage.

That is what politicians should do, highlight the absolute incompetence of our police force

Was it "absolute incompetence", though? Yes, their response in the first few minutes after they got involved was terrible. Does that make everything they did absolutely incompetent? They investigated the murder, arrested Digwa and other family members quickly, gathered evidence diligently (including recording him talking to his brother), brought him to trial and ensured all the evidence was put before the court, resulting in Digwa's conviction and that of his mother. What was incompetent about that process?

Deny deny deny

JuliaBraverman · Yesterday 16:05

If the left would stop virtue signalling for a minute and stop focusing on the real issues instead of Nigel Farage we may be able to make progress

Why do you keep saying that, when your comments are readily available to be seen and read by clicking the ' quote history' link? If you're back pedalling and realise you've made a grave error of judgment, that's ok, just own it.

I agree politicians don't give a shiny shit, as they often don't have to live in deprived areas where youth unemployment and poverty turn cities into hell holes. It shouldn't be the case that your family cannot go into town or that women feel u safe going i to shops.

My family and I were in a NE town recently and seeing the state of the place was far worse than anything the media could report. There were no illegals visible, but it was so obvious the government had completely deserted all responsibility to the people, and it was heartbreaking to see. That is what I believe we should be fighting against, not each other.

NovemberMorn · Yesterday 16:06

The response from the police in the first few minutes, was the decider to whether Henry died being manhandled, handcuffed and sneered at, or comforted as he lay bleeding to death.

What happened afterwards, when it was clear he had been murdered, can't make up for their initial response.

Sunglade · Yesterday 16:06

We've reached a point now where we'd sooner watch someone choke on their own blood than risk causing offence. We are literally done as a country.

The people who live in those areas are poor and for that reason, nobody cares. It's disgusting.

and people are kicking off more about Nigel Farage than the fact a young man was brutally murdered - the lack of compassion, empathy and emotional intelligence from some of these posting is disgusting.

I am from Middlesbrough and can confirm. Yes it's always been disadvantaged but it's never been this bad, so extremely and visibly..it's actually scary when I visit to see family now.

Because I have made no comments on their presence at the vigil, do try reading again.

Every time a white person dies at the hands of a person of colour, Nigel Farage wins a few more votes.

This is the problem.

In failing to address the issue, and instead downplaying it and shouting down anyone that raises it with accusations (valid or not) of racism and bigotry, successive governments have created the conditions that allow someone like Farage to gain significant political capital by becoming the voice of those that feel angry, alienated, and ignored. It’s cynical and predictable, and something that could have been headed off years ago.

The way to deal with Farage isn’t to double down on an ideological position, outright deny institutional failure, and ignore increasingly popular sentiment. That only benefits Farage. Farage didn’t create the conditions, but he is exploiting them. That he is able to is something governments that have allowed things to reach this point bear responsibility for.

Short term memory loss? Did you forget you commented on the protesters presence, saying 'nothing sick about that'. My unanswered question to you is, Why do you think it's ok?

I know Digwa used race to throw suspicion off himself but did he stab Novak because he (Digwa) is a racist?
Or could the victim have been someone of any colour? Genuine question - I haven’t seen any reports that Novak was attacked because of his race.

Digwa, it has been reported, has a fascination with knives. He is a violent, terrible man.
There is no role for knives on the streets.

I can’t imagine what it must have been like for Novak’s family when they saw the footage. My son is a similar age and it is unthinkable.

It's actually quite likely the attack was racially motivated but racism against white people is a big 'doeent happen'.

DaisyDooley · Yesterday 16:18

CaesarAugusta · Yesterday 15:22

There's only one person who is trivialising this and being non-classy - and that's Nigel Farage.

He’s not ‘trivialising’ this.
Henry Novak wasn’t trivial & neither was his death.
He’s the only one speaking out on this!!
It took Starmer until last night. How long did it take him to be on his knee for a criminal druggie American??
Maybe if politicians had done something and stopped pussy footing around the problem after Lee Rigby was hacked to bits on a street in broad daylight we wouldn’t be here despairing for Henry now, and all of the women who have been raped/murdered by people who should never have been here.

You might be prepared to sacrifice your kids -I don’t want mine to be raped or murdered thanks.
Starmer -useless. Burham -equally useless & a danger to women
Badenoch -speaks sense but is leader of a tainted party.
Ed Davey -fucking useless . Look at his support of men in womens spaces. He’s another danger to women.
Farage- very divisive but says it how it is a lot of the time.
Polanski- lying antisemite who hates women unless they love him and his muslim wife oppressing sidekick.

Not really much choice is there. But only ONE of them is saying how it is - this country is doomed unless we stop the violent crime and mass migration.
How many more before lefty’s will say ‘enough’??

NovemberMorn · Yesterday 16:19

Digwa used the race card, no one else did....so that implies he was racist to me.

This is the crux of the matter.

He was the one who made this about race! Yet ‘Stand up to Racism’ will be picketing the vigil of his murder victim???

WE didn’t make it about race, he did!

Agree. The card he played wouldn’t have worked if the young lad had been black or Asian.
