If you use re-usable/washable sanitary pads, do or would you line dry them after washing assuming four or five neighbours can easily see them?

Yes

ShetlandishMum · 28/05/2026 12:40

No.

beefthief · 28/05/2026 12:40

Maybe.

BarnacleBeasley · 28/05/2026 12:40

Yes - they're much smaller than all the other laundry anyway so you'd have to be really looking for them to notice.

Why use reusable sanitary pads really… very unhygienic

KurtCobainLover · 28/05/2026 12:41

Yes, I doubt my neighbours are looking that closely at my washing.

Headabovetheparapets · 28/05/2026 12:41

Yes

megacat · 28/05/2026 12:42

I don’t use them but if I did I absolutely would hang them out, women menstruate and it’s not something to to be ashamed of or hide.

Do you not use reusable knickers, towels, socks?

How are they unhygienic? They are washed after one use.

CocoaTea · 28/05/2026 12:43

No I wouldn't. But I dont hang out my bras etc either.

Svolvaer · 28/05/2026 12:44

Yes. They’re small and if they’re on the washing line they’re clean so what’s the problem? Everyone knows women have periods.

Peonies12 · 28/05/2026 12:45

Yes I would. I bet no one looks or knows what they are

Hankunamatata · 28/05/2026 12:45

Yes. Sunlight kills somehting like 99.8% of bacteria and removes stains.

Just like re-usable nappies really? they'll be fine after a wash.

Snorydog · 28/05/2026 12:46

Yes!

Highlighta · 28/05/2026 12:47

It wouldn't bother me. The sun is good for them anyway.

When my dd lived and home, she hung hers out on one of those round circular peg things. It has one hook and then you can just unhook it to bring them all indoors once dry.

Foraor · 28/05/2026 12:48

No, you must protect your neighbours from the awful realisation that women menstruate. 🙄

MeetMeOnTheCorner · 28/05/2026 12:49

No. Use a tampon.

Secretseverywhere · 28/05/2026 12:49

I wouldn’t but not out of shame. I tend to hang up smalls in the conservatory as they dry really quickly. Anything bigger goes on a coat hanger, outside then into wardrobes. Only sheets and towels get hung up.

Cakeandslippers · 28/05/2026 12:49

yes definitely - the sunlight is really good for them too

OttersOnAPlane · 28/05/2026 12:50

Sunlight is great for getting stains out.

You are on a wind up surely....

AprilMizzel · 28/05/2026 12:52

I put them on sock peg drier surrounded by pants and socks - one hook and it all comes in when it rains.
