AIBU to want my sister to leave my local crows alone?

I have been feeding a group of crows near my house and we’re just getting to the point where they wait for me now in a morning and come very close. My sister has decided she wants in on it but I’ve told her to go and find her own murder as I’ve put in all the hard work with these ones. I told her there is a murder across the way on the field she could do and feed.

this morning I was coming home from shop and there she was feeding Russel from my murder. I shouted at her and she shouted that they’re not my fucking crows, at the point a woman walking a dog walked past and tutted so sister shouted that they’re not my crows and I was shouting at her. The woman just carried on walking but this was right near my house!!

AIBU to think she should just go and feed the others???

@AliceNotInChains Good on you for defending your mates! Maybe sister merits some praise as well since she told you about it. What if you share the murder? It could be a bonding experience that your sometimes volatile relationship could benefit from.

Wild life doesn't care who feeds it, aslong as there is food, they will eat it. The bird is not showing any loyalty towards you, its the food, not you.

So you like your sister again for alerting you?

There's a seagull that comes around my parents' home - we call him Mr Wobbly as he can't take off or land properly. He knocks on her bedroom window at 8am for a bit of food.

If he went someone else my mum would miss him but wouldn't ever be cross at the choice of a WILD animal to link with other people. Is this no longer the point of the post? How stupid it was in the first place to complain? Ok then.

He’s not dead. Perhaps it’s his Spirit Animal.

😂

I guess I was today years old when I learned that a pack of crows was called a murder of crows 😂

Me too!

Did we also establish what kind of buffet you put out for crows?

Well i heard that crows have photographic memories for human faces and can hold grudges and attack humans who have done them wrong. Since they have come to know and trust you, you could stage a scene whereby it looks like your sister is harming you, thus triggering the crows vengeance mechanisms. Basically, they will see her as threatening and will kot forget her face

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
