Emma Willis is a very safe pair of hands. Surprised people are complaining she's dull because that's all you ever read about Tess on here. Tom Allen would have been good.

You needed someone with Live TV hosting experience - Emma has that.
I am not keen on Josh personally but he has done The Last Leg presenting as part of a team long enough, that he could do the Claude role.
I, too, thought JoJo was returning as a pro. There was talk of him leaving though, like Kev, to do more musical theatre - perhaps he has been offered the roving reporter thing to keep him on board. As they have made changes already and he was a fan favourite, they have pulled strings to keep him as part of the "family."
I don't see JoJo in that role though and it hasn't worked for Neil or others on It Takes Two.
They did similar to Robin Windsor when they put him out to pasture. Not sure how Janette will fair either, if It Takes Two is being changed/getting a rehaul.
I will watch but it will feel jaded like DWTS after they got rid of Tom Bergeron.

I find Emma’s voice really grating, there’s something about it that makes me wince. Bit shrieky. Sorry, I know she can’t help it, but when it’s going to affect the way she does the job, it’s a valid point to make. Don’t mind Josh W but I agree with PP, Anne W would have been much better.

I went to see Josh Widdicombes’ standup and it is pretty weak, can’t imagine him on strictly.

The BBC manage to ruin anything that has been very successful eventually.

Josh is not a replacement for Claudia. Not in a million years. Very very odd.
Not sure I would have had Emma either.
Johannes is lovely but needs to be on the dance floor.
