Would you be annoyed if your mil arranged a party for you one week after giving birth?

Would you find it odd/unreasonable/annoying, if your mil arranged a party to show off the baby one week after giving birth?

Party consisting of all mils friends and family at her house in the evening. Without asking you if you actually wanted a party.

I’d be very annoyed if anyone planned a party 1 week PP. Even though I was out of hospital the day after having baby, I know of people having to stay in longer and even more than a week after having their babies so I would not be going nor would I want my MIL friends to see baby before my own friends and family.

Whether I would find it annoying as such would depend on my relationship with my mil and how she is in general.
If it was a slightly naive and silly idea from someone who is generally nice and is just excited to be a granny I wouldn’t be annoyed exactly, just roll my eyes inside and tell her perhaps it wasn’t the best idea as you’ve no idea how you’ll be feeling and don’t want baby exposed to lots of people so soon.
If she has form for being overbearing, disrespecting boundaries and attention seeking then I’d feel a bit differently and my response wouldn’t be as kind…..
