Also there aren't enough jobs for everyone to be employed, let alone for them to all work full time so regardless of whether it's any particular individuals choice, the option isn't there for many.

(I'm not quite full time - 30hrs -, on a bit more than minimum wage. This was the only job I could get, and that was through knowing people rather than applying. The job market is a nightmare atm, five months of looking in the run up to redundancy got me nothing. No UC because my savings are too high due to redundancy payment.)
