Completely unreasonable. ZP is a self-confessed liar on multiple issues. He's a snake oil salesman.

I don't understand how anyone can be so foolish.

PowerfulFireHorse · 07/05/2026 15:38

Totally agree. But sadly MN won't as the people on here love to bash the Greens 😞

pinkdelight · 07/05/2026 15:39

Nah. I don't mind them being a voice in the mix but no way should they get any power. Especially not ZP. Anyone green hearting him seems pretty naive to me.

Miranda65 · 07/05/2026 15:39

YABU. They are anti-Semitic, and that's just the worst of their many faults.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 07/05/2026 15:40

No. I used to really like the Greens but I'm afraid they have totally lost the plot.

dairydebris · 07/05/2026 15:42

What is it about the Greens or their policies that you like OP?

Maray1967 · 07/05/2026 15:42

They’re a complete joke. I’d vote Tory before I’d vote Green, and that is saying a lot.

WarriorN · 07/05/2026 15:43

Depends who it is.

im a green, and I am horrified by ZP.

30 candidates being investigated for antisensemitsm is not good.

Theyve withdrawn support for two candidates locally thank god, but they should never have been chosen in the first place.

absolutely disgraceful. Zack - who never had a license for hypnotism and said he could make a woman’s boobs bigger, as well as lying about being a spokesperson for the Red Cross, will lap it up and spin the spin.

He should resign in my honest opinion.

There’s a handful of good greens. Those I’d vote for. None locally so I haven’t.

Limth · 07/05/2026 15:44

6/10

Try harder.

What is it about the Greens or their policies that you like OP?

To name a view

wealth tax
Defending the human rights act
Drug legalisation
Public ownership of water, energy and transport
replacing first past the post with PR

You are not unreasonable to hope for that! But others are not unreasonable to hope they don’t. I’d love to be able to vote Green but the Scottish Greens have said I shouldn’t vote for them and that I am not welcome. So I won’t.

Imlyingandthatsthetruth · 07/05/2026 15:47

So you celebrate a party founded on ecological values and green policies that then drops all of those core values. Way to go. Don't you think their name should bear some semblance of their values - just in case it misleads people?

mismomary · 07/05/2026 15:49

Sadly not while ZP is in charge. He shouldn’t be in charge of ANYTHING.

MyTrivia · 07/05/2026 15:50

Everyone saying no, who would you vote for instead - Reform?!

pinkdelight · 07/05/2026 15:51

Lol. Now you're being silly. Yes, everyone who won't vote Green votes Reform. There are no other options.

The Labour Party was founded in Trade Unionism to represent working class people, yet hasn't been identifiably Socialist since the 1970s. That didn't stop people handing them a thumping majority two years ago.

All political parties morph and change over time.

That isn’t a binary choice! In my area we have Labour, Lib Dem, Conservative, a couple of independents wanting a better swimming pool or changes to SEN support, Green and Reform. Plenty of options without going for craziness.

Ah yes, the two parties fielding candidates in this election - Reform and the Greens.

Absolutely. But Labour are still a bloody sight closer to the working people than the fucking Tories and the links to the trade unions are still there - and ironically probably one of their biggest drawbacks. Doesn't change my view that a "green" party should be expected to uphold green values.

The latest poll found Labour are polling at 10% among the working classes and would be wiped out with 0 seats if an election was held in which only they were voting.

Conversely, among the richest people in the UK, Labour were first, and would win an outright majority if it was just them voting.

Labour have nothing to do with working people anymore. They just want reasonable taxes and a competent government. Not a government led by people who want to spend their time telling us that women have penises.

Who turns a blind eye to antisemitism when it is politically convenient.

He can also give Nigel a run for his money when it comes to misogyny.

LassiKopiano24 · 07/05/2026 16:01

You’re not unreasonable for wanting him to do well or voting for him thats your right.
