Whilst she went into side to drop of her children. It was off nursery premises and she works part time and children attend the nursery as well.

Aibu to report it? She does it daily.

Report to who? What business is it of yours?

SeaShellsSanctuary1 · 06/05/2026 09:09

Report her for what?

First post nails it

Motheranddaughter · 06/05/2026 09:10

MYOB

YourShyLion · 06/05/2026 09:10

It's absolutely none of your business or that of the nursery for that matter.

CloudyBayPlease · 06/05/2026 09:10

What exactly are you reporting her for?

I’d love to know this and to whom you’d report it 😂

Samesame47 · 06/05/2026 09:11

What was the issue you wanted to report? Did she leave children in the car? I’m confused by what you want to report

MidnightPatrol · 06/05/2026 09:11

What’s her crime here?

CatRestaurant · 06/05/2026 09:11

Why? Nothing better to do?

SpringSSW · 06/05/2026 09:12

How old are the children?
Our nursery have a blanket ban on leaving any siblings in the car when dropping off children, so they would absolutely want this reported.
The fact the car is left running is a massive worry. I still remember my siblings and I being left in a car whilst my mum popped in somewhere, we were messing about and one of us knocked the handbrake off and we started rolling down the hill, luckily my older sister knew how to stop it, otherwise it could have been an awful situation.
So yes. I would

Have you nothing else to worry about today??
Please, there are bigger things in life to get your knickers in a twist over.

TheSmallAssassin · 06/05/2026 09:13

I'd think she was foolish, because someone could just steal her car while she was in the nursery, but I wouldn't "report it" (to whom?)

ThisOneLife · 06/05/2026 09:13

B1anche · 06/05/2026 09:09

What business is it if gets if her and other children have to breath in poisonous fumes?
Pollution causes death and is responsible for global warming.

It’s illegal to leave an unattended car with the engine running and the insurance is negated.

YANBU

At what point did it say children were left in car

BreakingBroken · 06/05/2026 09:14

What does “into side” mean?

SlayTheJAway · 06/05/2026 09:15

MidnightPatrol · 06/05/2026 09:11

What’s her crime here?

Well, it is illegal…

maudelovesharold · 06/05/2026 09:17

Presumably she wants to report that the car is left belching fumes next to a.nursery? It’s illegal to leave your car with the engine running in the uk. Also to sit in the car with it idling when you are parked up.

Catza · 06/05/2026 09:17

To all surprised people: it is illegal to have the car idling when stationary on any public road (Road traffic act 1988). If you have a deriving license you should be aware of it. Not sure where you'd report though. Technically she can (and should!) be fined, although fines are way too small and are probably never enforced.

It is actually illegal to leave your car idling unnecessarily. Though I don't think it matters whether you are inside it or not.

MigGirl · 06/05/2026 09:17

Well she's an idiot, someone could just come and steal her car. But I'm not sure it's illegal 🤔

CupcakeDreams · 06/05/2026 09:17

Yes, you should report it and tell everyone it was you so they know that you're ridiculous and shun you from all social events.

🙄

Ohthatsabitshit · 06/05/2026 09:20

Presumably it is hard to start, but by all means get her to turn it off so she can fail to get to where she needs to be.

Loulou4022 · 06/05/2026 09:39

As long as she’s not leaving any children in the car then i don’t see what the problem is?? It’s on her if her car gets nicked and her insurance are u likely to pay out if she left the keys in it!
