AIBU to ask if you have a mumsnet twin

I’ve noticed that there’s one particular poster who almost always likes or agrees with my posts on a thread.

I use a few different usernames and post on threads about a variety of topics - politics, bad husbands, hen do dramas, inheritance, general life issues and all sorts of random things. I just notice this same username popping up all the time (there’s a second who I notice agrees with me very regularly, too).

Clearly we’re very similar and think the same way about a lot of different things. Just wondered if others have noticed the same.

YABU- I’ve never noticed a particular person always agreeing with me.

I am not a stalker. Not.

No! Just usually gives the thumbs up reaction, sometimes a heart, sometimes quotes my post and says she agrees and adds a bit more comment.
It’s not every single time I post, but definitely frequently enough to notice “her again, she agrees with me a lot”.

I have often agreed with Pyongyangkipperbang (which is a username that always makes me chuckle!) but tbh other than that, I notice myself disagreeing with the same posters a lot more often than agreeing with the same ones.

There are two or three posters who I agree with pretty much everything they post and they tend to agree with me too. It's really nice to see them on threads, especially if it's a contentious topic where a lot of posters are saying the opposite.

There are a few I can think of who often seem to react/agree with me. I namechange very often (several times a week), so it's obviously nothing personal.

Interestingly, a couple of them have also very vehemently disagreed with me on occasion!

I think maybe they're just people who like to give reactions to a lot of people and like to get involved in discussions, rather than people who necessarily agree with all my views?

There's one poster who tends to save me a lot of typing as if she's on the thread before me, she tends to have already said what I would but more eloquently

Equally, she often agrees with me in my various different NNs, so she'd have no idea we're kindred spirits! 😁

I have posters like this - i will do a heart when I've seen them around for a while

I also have posters who follow me across threads to disagree with me 🙃😄

Is it just me who pays zero attention to user names? I rarely look at them and could only name maybe three posters off the top of my head. I’ve been here off and on under various guises for almost 20 years.

There are several posters who I can count on to agree with me. Equally there are several who I know never will! I’m Marmite.

I rarely pay attention to them either. Just when you look at notifications of who’s reacted to your posts, I see the same one (and another one to a lesser extent) pop up all the time so it starts to become memorable.

I don't pay much attention, tbh. I post regularly on a long running thread which changes every 90 days and I find it hard enough to keep up with their name changes despite meeting up with some of them every 6 months or so in real life. A couple of them are kind enough to leave bread crumb clues because they know I'm so rubbish. So I'm not going to have capacity to notice whether people agree with me or not!
