Just heard this in live interview with Defence Secretary.
Apparently they can reach us in 4 hours.
Are they lying??

That is what we’re doing: we want the lunatic extremists that exist in Israel to stop attacking people. We just have more empathy to understand that other people’s lives and other children’s lives are just as important as ours: Iranian and Palestinian people have every right to life as we do.

If you actually believe in humanitarian law, you would know that that is not a justification. What Israel may or may not have done in gaza is not a reason for iran to try to mass murder Israeli civilians.

The uk massacred Irish civilians but I wouldn't use that to justify 7/7 bombings.

Israel is saving itself from.the existential threat posed by Iran.
Hopefully a consequence of this will alos be the freedom and liberation of the long suffering iranian people. We can only hope that this happens, they certainly deserve it.

Israel has killed nearly 100000 people in Gaza, the majority women and children. It's mass murder.

And arguing 'they started it' is infantile here. No-one can say 'who started it' in the Middle East without travelling back to pre-history. And even then there would be no easy answer.

Nothing justifies October 7th. Nothing justifies Israeli mass murder of Palestinians. The latter has killed a hundred times more people than the former.

Yes, having little children shot in the back as they run away or try to collect aid is perfectly fine.

It really does make sense. And I’m not defending any regime - I am criticising Israel and the US. There’s this crazy notion that one does not need to be for one thing in order to be against something else. I am not a rampant tribalist.
