If israel wanted to obliterate palestine it would have, many times over.
Palestine also wishes to obliterate israel by the same logic.
However, unlike israel/palestine where both sides have claims and there is a real conflict to be resolved, there is actually no reason for conflict between iran and israel. Iran's objects to israel's existence for ideological reasons alone..israel has no issue with iran but iran has a massive issue with israel
