I also think letters and numbers are gendered and some of them have quite specific personalities. Eg. Both G and H are older matriarchal women.

Thursdays and October are definitely the same but they are even and cool/blue/purple. Wednesdays and Mondays are odd and Red/orange/hot

I went to see Derren Brown the other night. The audience had to choose yellow or green and after the result he did a monologue about free choice and how he had determined who the audience would vote for etc. Now I absolutely LOVE Derren but was he aware that, no way in my entire life would I have ever voted yellow, because it was my primary school nemesis's favourite colour and I have a deep aversion to it because of that! And it is associated with even numbers, which mildly disgust me?

Lots of his suggestion/mentalism doesn't work on me because I have a very strict order of favouritism for letters and numbers. I would never pick any even number, I would never pick certain letters. He would combust befre he made me utter '8' or 'H'.

I find it strange when people don't have favourites...I can't imagine not being numberist/letterist 😆 It's such a visceral feeling.

Monday is purply-blue, tuesday is orange, wed is yellow, thursday is green and smells of bleach, friday is purple, sat id yellow and sunday is orange.

the only thing i know is i don't trust wednesdays. It's a fence sitter and can't make its mind up if its a mon/tues sort of day, or a thurs/fri sort of day.

When I was a kid I used to lie in bed running through the alphabet and numbers, seeing each one as its particular gender and personality. Nobody I've spoken to has ever understood but I found the above after some googling a few years ago. You are also absolutely right about the cutlery OP.

PS for me, odd numbers are mostly male and even mostly female but there are some exceptions. 7 is definitely female.

Sunday is definitely white or silver because it is shiny . Friday is still sludgy work colours and then Saturday revels itself to be reddish ombre ending in pink .
