The Green Party. A party for women. A party for equality. A party for the rights for gay and trans people.... They ran their campaign on the Gaza stance. To secure the vote of people who go against the majority of their principles.

I am disgusted that British Politics, which is already in the gutter, a party who should champion ethics and morals, has sunk this low.

Surly I cannot be the only one who thinks this way?

I thought Reform wanted to be an alternative to the main two parties? Well there you go, kids, you're not alone in that. You've changed the way people vote. If they want to say No to Reform more than they want to say Yes to Labour, that's their right. Or maybe they just really like the Greens?

An entire population are living in daily fear, many displaced, camps aren’t even safe 70,000+ are dead… and our government won’t condemn it. Our government criminalise people trying to stop these atrocities. Is it really so hard to believe that large swathes of the British electorate CARE?

OP, if you are going to moan about something on a public forum, then at least get your facts straight.

The areas that were voting for a new MP were Denton, Gorton, Levenshulme, Burnage and Longsight. All working class areas that were predominantly Labour in the past. If you are specifically talking about Denton, 83% are white, British.

If you are just talking about Denton (who you mention in your post), then honestly, most people in Denton wouldn’t give a shiny shit about Gaza. I’ve lived there I know the area. Still a lot who are traditionally Labour voters, some will have been swayed to Greens due to the right-wing press constantly slagging off Starmer and there is the element who would have voted Reform, based on their ‘stop the boats stance’.

I can’t talk about the other parts of the constituency, as I have never lived in those areas, but if you are only going to talk about Denton, get your facts straight.

YABU you'll find that people voted tactically to prevent Reworm from getting a seat. It was a close call as Reform came 2nd and the Greens knew that it would be. That's why they went all out on their election campaign & capitalised on Labour not putting Andy Burnham forward. If he was allowed to stand then Gorton would still be Labour but they're too short sighted to see this. I suspect that the Greens absorbed a lot of the Labour vote rather than just the Muslim vote.

I’m baffled why Reform are outraged that their anti-immigration pro-white campaigning has energised muslims and other non-rascists to not vote for them. And then call it cheating!

Everything I saw about the greens campaign was about Hannah being in the trades and wanting to help other working people. That and other campaigners advocating tactical voting as a way of keeping the racist and women hating reform out.
There's nothing wrong with a party wanting to support Gaza, but that wasn't the campaign I saw, and I follow a lot of their SM and see a lot about that area generally (used to work there)

There'd need to have been an awful lot of that to affect the final result, and frankly it's not credible that poor downtrodden women were forced by domineering husbands and fathers to abandon their vote for that nice Mr Goodwin and choose the woman instead. I assume that's what's being implied.
