God, the poor woman. This is so sad to see. I don't know much about her life now, but I get the impression no one is really there for her any more.

She clearly is not well but it’s a long standing thing and none of us are in a position to assess whether she is at any significant risk because of it. I sincerely hope she is not. We can see the risk to her dignity with our own eyes of course. If I started doing that my family would have good cause to take me to see the doctor, but it is a long standing thing for her and the risks need to be balanced against her need for autonomy. Whether anyone is actually considering this in a professional manner and in her interests is the worry.

It’s awful, she looks extremely mentally ill. Her makeup looks like a clown, her fashion is weird, her expressions, movements, just everything feels off. Really sad

She definitely has some uncontrolled bipolar, possibly self medicated with something bad. Always the same bizarre dancing. She is dead behind the eyes. She needs to step away and get help. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she passed soon 😞

Poor woman. How anyone can look at that video posted about 11pm last night our time and think she's living her best life and everyone just needs to keep their beaks out. She is dead behind the eyes - the lights are on, but nobody's home. She's clearly out of it on something, I don't know enough about her or drugs to say what but she's so obviously struggling.

"Free Britney" was the right thing to do to stop her exploitation by her father, but it's fairly clear that some sort of help or oversight is needed to keep her well. Irrespective of her career and wealth, this is a relatively young woman, with two kids, who is struggling. She needs support, not criticism.

I read that there was several mentions of her in the epstein files as having been subject to neurological experiments.

The recent selling of her music rights, the erratic behaviour, with possible substance misuse, yet broadcast on SM for the world to see, it seems like there's someone pulling the strings behind the scenes, benefitting/profitting from exploiting her, even if it costs her her entire life's earnings, her health and potentially her life.

You can´t help those who don´t want help. As many have found out when trying to help a relative in similar circumstances. She is adult and under no tutelage. She can do whatever she wants, which includes ignoring any relative who approaches with help.

I think she abuses Adderall though it is giving meth vibes. I'm not sure. But she looks like she's mentally unwell. I feel like she's very very lonely and lost. And has arrested development from when she first got famous, so like 16.

She seems pretty switched on in her understanding of her current behaviours here.

I know she's in her 40s but she's acting like a young teenager, with her dancing and interacting with the camera. It's a long drawn out cry for help, but who can hear her? How old are her sons now? Where are her friends and family? If she was my sister, I would be breaking my neck to get to her, to intervene, to get her help.

I thnk I am more baffled that she leaves them up. We all do silly things with say a few drinks but you would delete as soon as possible surely?

How would you do this though?

My family have had a recent ish struggle of trying to get an older family member to seek medical help. It’s very difficult, if not impossible, to intervene in another adult’s life if they don’t want to see anyone, don’t want to get help, refuse to accept that there’s a problem.

Hypothetically, if Britney’s sister came and somehow got her into a car, what happens then? She can’t be dragged into rehab, doctors and/or therapy if she doesn’t want to be.

She doesn't need her shitty family members turning up again. The only reason they shoehorned her into a conservatorship was because they could make her keep performing that way. That was the tradeoff for basically having the full time job of looking after her - access to her money and making her generate more.

I'm not sure @Glitterella was being snarky as much as baffled that you seem to think someone who happens to be an extremely convincing britney lookalike has broken into britney spears publicly verified social media accounts and is posting increasingly unhinged and provocative material for months on end while poor Actual Britney sits at home fully clothed and none the wiser??

She doesn't look well, but she has been doing those dances for years. And presumably makes money from doing them.

I don't believe it myself but no, that isn't the prevailing theory. It's that she's died under mysterious circs and her team/family have hired someone to keep this up as a ruse rather than have a Michael Jackson overdose situation.

It’s very sad to watch, she did weird dances a few months ago but her general decline is very apparent. She doesn’t look very clean or like her hair has been brushed for a while. I never watched the doc, in what way was her dad abusive? Although I don’t think she should be controlled, I feel like she does need someone to take charge of her SM

Accusations were financial abuse (taking a large monthly salary while giving her a small allowance), making her perform against her will, bugging her home, and attacking one of her sons leading to a restraining order.

I will just choose to leave her be and wish her well. She’s an absolute legend who’s been through a lot. she’s a victim of her life experiences and the only harm she seems to be doing is to her brand which is her prerogative. I’d like her to make different decisions but that’s for me. I hope what’s she’s doing she’s doing freely and brings her some joy or comfort or celebration that at least she’s choosing.
