The trouble is everyone was always after her money. She needs help from some kind of management and PR team who are not individuals benefiting from her financially like her parents and sister - people just doing their day job. I assumed she had that but if so where are they?

She's a lost soul. I don't know how much capacity she would have to post these videos herself, or how much capacity she has to realise she needs help. She must be on medication/illegal drugs so where is she getting these? I feel so sorry for her, and also for her now adult children who have had to live through this all of their childhoods & now see this online.

How vile to put this on her sons, she is not their responsibility.

It was reported that she sold all the rights to her music for $150 - $200 million 8 weeks ago. She really does not look like she is well enough to make such serious financial decisions like this so it makes me wonder who is advising her and are they genuinely acting in her best interests.

It must be very hard for her to know who she is, what her value is. She’s almost been pimped out- controlled and used to earn money for her conservators.

She’s been raised on performing suggestive routines in skimpy clothes. What a woman to do all day if not that?

I can't remember what was happening during her conservatorship breakdown but I'm sure I remember even Britney saying she didn't want the conservatorship to end, she just wanted it transferring to someone else she trusted. Then suddenly the conservatorship had ended was the next thing I remember.

This is really sad and heartbreaking.

I don't know how capacity laws work over there, but I really hope this is a wakeup call for a robust bill protecting vulnerable people who need support to get that support without financial abuse.

Dont feel bad! Honestly the sectioning and meds can do as much damage as the mental illness can.

I had psychosis and actually got over that pretty quickly (c. 3 months). Trying to retrain my brain after those drugs and assimilate back into society after having a shock of losing my liberty and theres nothing you can do. Much harder than recovering from psychosis itself! Its really hard work and tbh so damaging that if you cant be freed/ go med free quickly then thats it really. You can still live a life and be happy, but it’s not going to be the same; new, different at best and at worst even one which pre MH you potentially could be quite disturbed at. And thats really what we are looking at here with Britney.

I don't think the conservatorship was needed. Her early interviews were her being quite lucid and coming across as a fairly normal young woman (as normal as someone raised in the public eye can be anyway). She's been chewed up and spat out by fame and mismanagement and now nobody cares about her. If I knew her personally I'd be doing anything I could to get her right, but sadly I think a PP may be right and she's just too far gone now. It's very sad. She was used as a commodity and has never developed herself to be a real person.

Gosh there are things inbetween a conservatorship and zero support! She should be able to get mental health care without being made to earn money by her family! Its so sad she doesn't have the right support in place.
