I would say early thirties.

Hair looks similar condition to mine. I'm 41. But my hair has been slightly dryer for about 10 years. So you could be anywhere between early 30s and mid 40s based on that.

It needs cutting unless you are a wistful willowy 18 year old.
From the condition, I would say early 50s.

Let's see! How do you get it in good condition? Dry-haired gal here would like to know.

How can anyone tell from the back of your head? I'm too old for this. I'm going to bed.

I'm growing my hair too, since 2021 when it was a chin-length bob, but I'm doing it very gradually with good trims every three months, and a few times over the past few years I've had 2-3 inches off. It's getting there, slowly! You do need patience for the grow-it-slowly approach, though. I have really frizzy, dry hair naturally, that breaks easily, so I thought I'd try this approach. I'm so fed up with mine looking ratty that I wondered if I could have long hair this way (which I define as being at least halfway down my back) and actually have it look healthy too. I've seen some transformations on YT. It's currently about two inches below my shoulders.

For the last few years, I've also though "fuck it" (re the stereotypes about older women & long hair - I've just turned 59), & have been growing mine as long as it gets (while still having regular trims). I'm loving it, & fully intend to go down the whole white witchy route if/when I stop colouring it!!
