In just 48hrs, 50,000 people have joined Restore Britain! Candidates will follow very soon it is inevitable.

Well Reform don't seem to be able to find people who don’t have to be sacked or who don't just resign. Why do you think this will be different?
Do you have a reliable source for that figure? What does membership mean? How many are just nosing?

cardibach · 15/02/2026 21:21

They know it’s an issue the right and the press have fixated on so they have to be seen to do something. I actually wish they wouldn’t - they’ve a massive majority, just do really important stuff at a faster pace.

You might get your wish, the policies still need to be voted on and backbenchers might not be so beholden to say yes now McSweeney has gone.

Although Starmer appears to want someone supportive of Mahmood as CoS so could be a factor.

😂😂😂 that’s if those numbers are to be believed. We are in an age where facts don’t seem to matter and the far right aren’t well known for their impeccable honesty. They feed people any old shit and they swallow it.

32 million people have viewed Lowe's manifesto over the last 48hrs and he now has over 50,000 paid up members to his party. Have a look on X.

Lowe stands in one seat at a yet to be determined General Election.

I'm sorry I don't believe you - the total adult population of the UK is only 55 million

I don’t think it will be only UK users, especially if Musk has promoted them, but X is hardly a beacon of truth and that poster sounds as gullible as they come.

Sorry, quoted wrong person. It was meant for @Efacsen

I’d be happy to put money on them mostly not being U.K. users and not being able to vote.

In what way am I gullible? I was just quoting some figures.

Teanbiscuits33 · 15/02/2026 22:14

He says a British passport doesn’t make you British - I’d love to know what he thinks does?

No voting rights for foreign born people and mass deportations that seem to be reaching far beyond what reform are telling us they plan to do at the moment.

This country’s political trajectory is getting utterly fucking repulsive. I can’t believe it’s happening in my life time.

I wonder if the goal is to make reform appear more moderate?

You’re gullible for believing anything you read on X without question.

Do you think that premiership footballers came to Britain illegally in small boats and were housed in hotels prior to getting their contracts with their clubs?

You make no distinction between anyone who lives and works here who wasn't born here and you think people who support Reform are stupid and racist?

Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of either Farage or this other guy but the snobbery and viciousness of the Mumsnet class about ordinary working-class people's concerns is so vile that I don't blame anyone for voting for them.

Lots of middle classed and public school types who support Reform. Last time I looked , Lowe, Farage the lot of them are public school boys.

Why do people always bring up 'snobbery against the working class' if Reform voters are called out for being fucking stupid ( which they are) ???

Its a trick Farage uses. The most vocal supporters have been the opposite of working class people, billionaires ....I wonder why?

I and many of my friends viewed it, and none of us would piss on him if he was on fire, what's your point?

Lambington · 15/02/2026 22:31

Labour have cut immigration by half and are on track to get it down to net Zero by next year. Reform and others no longer serve any purpose beyond a rather empty protest vote.

I don’t think you’re in any position to take the piss about the veracity of anybody else’s posts because you’ve just quoted X and Rupert Lowe as your source of factual information which says a hell of a lot.

And what? You quoted the numbers as if they were fact and also confidently said ‘Rupert Lowe will be the next prime minister 2029’ less than 24 hours after he’s publicised a party and 3.5 years away from a GE. Get a grip of yourself.

It’s an audacity to take the piss out of what other people say after that bollocks. No doubt if Labour got rid of all the immigrants over night you wouldn’t believe it anyway, people like you never do and you’re never happy, you’ll just carry on being in a state of perpetual anger and wanting others to suffer because you think it will somehow quell your own misery.

I'm working class. Plenty of racists don't care why or how someone is here, and would like all non-white people sent 'home'.

charliehungerford · 15/02/2026 23:09

Tryagain26 · 15/02/2026 13:07

Reform and Lowe's new even more right wing party are not parties for ordinary working class people though, they are Parties run by and for rich people exploiting poorer people's anxieties.
I was born and brought up in a council house, my family is firmly working class, I resent the implication that all working class people are concerned about is immigration and therefore drawn towards these far right parties. Most of us are not.
Most of us are much too intelligent to be taken in by the rhetoric and more concerned about the price of food and rent to worry about the very small number of asylum seekers.
Besides latest numbers actually suggest we could have negative migration soon anyway and we will probably have to beg people to come over here.

The issue with negative migration is that when you look at the statistics the people who are leaving the uk (British citizens not temporarily resident) are highly educated and wealthy. Those arriving here are generally less educated and have few financial resources so despite working can often be reliant on state support with universal credit and access to social housing. This is not economically sustainable.

Well many are also leaving because they don’t like the direction in which the country is headed with the upsurge in racism and fascism, including skilled workers.

So are those people (educated and well paid) sneering liberal elites who don't understand the working class or are they the only ones supporting the country and it's poorly paid benefit scrounging lower tier? Its hard to keep up.

HRTQueen · 15/02/2026 23:51

No not Lowe I don’t think he is a concern to Farage he has a loyal support base

but he will now he has a number of big player egos in the party have to watch his back

I think their shall be some infighting soon and hopefully Farage shall go off the the US and Reform shall fold as its really his party

thepariscrimefiles · 16/02/2026 07:32

Freysimo · 15/02/2026 12:38

Rupert has done more than any of the other parties to highlight the abuse of British girls by "grooming gangs".

FFS he is supported by Musk who is all over the Epstein files begging Epstein for an invitation to paedophile island.

His obsession with 'grooming gangs' is due to the ethnicity of the perpetrators. He couldn't give a shit about CSA committed by white men.

It's the same with him banging on about banning halal meat. He is in favour of blood sports so he actually doesn't give a shit about animal welfare. It's just another campaign motivated by racism.
