Fed up hearing the breaking news....Andrew has left royal lodge.
So what, hes moving from one mansion to another. With lakeys waiting to clean the place and people to shop and cook for him. Etc etc.

As if hes going to ever live like us plebs.

And his victims will never get justice

I came on to say this. Where's the police investigation? Anyone else would be getting their hard drive checked.

The police have now said that they will be checking Peter Mandelson’s ‘devices’!

That’s specifically because of his role in government and the nature of his conversations.

Nightmare man.
We live about 3 miles away. The 'cottage' he is currently in has space for a butler, cook, housekeeper etc.

Looks like you may be seeing him in the local pizza express 😁😄

He needs to be moved into a one bedroomed, damp flat in Hull and made to work in B&M for minimum wage. That'd wake him up.

He could take over Kate Kent's flat in Hull. If it was good enough for her Andrew can hardly complain.

He's been reported to the police again - in the news today

Ukisgaslit · 04/02/2026 09:21

Andrew has been reported to the police several times . So has Charles
Nothing to see here has been the response .

I just think of Bert Baxter from the Adrian Mole diaries - 'they should all be made to move to council houses in Liverpool'. Poor Liverpool though.

Or council houses in any "poor" part of any big city. I live in Liverpool, it's far from being "the poor part" in many areas. Also, being "Poor" doesn't automatically equal "rough" nor does it make people who live in council houses less than and automatically "poor".

ScarlettOYara · 04/02/2026 09:21

No. He's not going to be living in a "2 up, 2 down" OP. Did you expect him to?

A small cottage on a royal country estate is many people's dream home. It is one rule for them - Andrew will protected until the end. Remember how much money his mum threw at the problem to try and make it go away. The royals don't give a shit about normal people, their priority is always protecting their privilege.

Agree. The lawyer of the latest victim to take action against him made a statement to the effect that all stripping Andrew of his titles and income has done is ensured that any further victims will not be adequately compensated because he won’t have the means. ‘The Firm’ has closed ranks and put themselves, their privilege and entitlement, and their amassed wealth first.

SALaw · 04/02/2026 09:22

And still provided for him by someone else via the State.

Good point.

Either way, he has the privilege of moving out while renovations (which I assume are improvements) are made to his current property.

No, l expected him to be held responsible for his crimes, and to be punished for them in the form of a jail sentence. And for the bill for his upkeep in prison to be sent to the royal family, not handed to the tax payer.

I feel sorry for his daughters. How embarrassing for them; and they have no obligations to their so called ‘mother’. Definitely a reason to go non contact.

The book Entitled describes their own actions, greed and unpleasant attitudes

I agree entirely. I think that republican America is a misogynist hell hole where women and girls are loathed.

Bill Clinton and Noam Chomsky are also in the files. It's not left vs right or Republican vs Democrat. It's vile powerful men doing whatever the hell they want without consequence regardless of their political beliefs.

I almost said that we don't have one, then remembered it's opposite the Minster

Bagsintheboot · 04/02/2026 09:37

Andrew doesn't have a fortune to support himself - a few posters on the thread have suggested he has. He and SF were hugely profligate with their money and were frequently in debt, hence all the scandals like the fake sheikh and SF asking Epstein for money.

I suspect Andrew has very little money in his own right beyond his military pension, which won't be much even by a normal person's standard.

Whatever we think he should be made to do - and I'd agree a grotty HMO somewhere would be suitable - it's just not going to happen.

KC has an unenviable choice: either he puts his brother out of the way and gives him enough so he doesn't start grifting for money, or he cuts him loose in which case there's no telling what he'd do. There was talk of the Saudis offering AMW a palace. Absolutely no-one - not the RF, not the govt, not the security forces - will want a member of the RF living out there in debt to a foreign power.

Personally I'd have stuck him somewhere even more remote like one of their estates in Scotland, but I suppose it makes him easier to watch if he's in Norfolk.

BIossomtoes · 04/02/2026 09:37

You learn something new every day, I had no idea Kings Lynn had a minster.

Yes, it seems to cut right across, doesn't it? Powerful people who feel entitled enough to exploit others with no fear of consequences. Is it only Mandelson and Andrew who have lost out so far?

Dollymylove · 04/02/2026 09:38

I would be happy to see Andrew at the bottom of the social housing list but its not going to happen. Im pretty sure Charles will have read him the riot act regarding his behaviour so if he has any morals at all (hmmm) he will keep a low profile.
I reckon that when William takes the throne he will he out on his ear completely. I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same with H&M

I may be wrong but I’m sure how much removing his title impacts his financial situation. He didn’t have a large ‘income’ as a non working royal anyway. It was all grace and favour stuff plus ofcourse the endless grifting. Any wealth and income would come from inheritances and his personal wealth has not been seized. Am sure it’s hidden away if not spent but it’s not impacted by where he lives or whether or not he has a title.

The Royals have no concept of a modest house, let alone a small house. Look at all the talk of William and Catherine's house at Windsor, Adelaide Cottage, being a modest 4 bedroom property 🙄

Erm, that seems to be the interior of Sandringham.

H&M are already effectively out, aren't they? They don't receive money from the privy purse or whatever it is and they don't use any royal estate properties. I remember Harry seeming surprised that leaving royal duties meant no longer getting paid. No, mate, when you leave a job you are no longer on the payroll!

Remember Megan and Harry moaning about living in a small cottage? Not so surprised at him complaining as he was born into it, but I would have expected her to bring him down a notch or two and "keep it real"

I doubt he’ll become a recluse.

According to channel 4 news, after the release of those extremely disturbing photos at the weekend, he deliberately rode past where he knew reporters are allowed to stand in Windsor Park, with a great big smile on his ugly, smug face.

He’s a despicable human being.

I did think it was odd that he just happened to be papped out riding and looking straight at the camera right after those bloody awful photos were released.

And then he just happened to need to drive his Range Rover down the long drive in Windsor where he cheerfully smiled and waved at passers by. Although he may as well have been shouting "fuck all you plebs" as that's what he thinks anyway.
