Fed up hearing the breaking news....Andrew has left royal lodge.
So what, hes moving from one mansion to another. With lakeys waiting to clean the place and people to shop and cook for him. Etc etc.

As if hes going to ever live like us plebs.

And his victims will never get justice

So why then were you questioning a poster who said they paid v low wages ?

Ukisgaslit · 05/02/2026 11:22

@blossomtoes
Actually what you stated is misleading

The housekeeper job was offering the equivalent of @ £10 an hour . The London minimum wage was @£11 an hour

If the job is live in the Windsors pay around £7 an hour .

JoshLymanSwagger · 05/02/2026 11:42

irrespective of how much the RF pay their staff...

Andrew formerly known as Prince can read the instruction manuals to the kettle, toaster and washing machine.

He may even have to fathom out how to draw his own bath.

I take it we can't ask for an FOI request on who pays for his food and loo roll?

I think AMW's shopping will be added to the Sandrigham online shopping order. I like to imagine QC casting a beady eye over his requirements.

AMW has never run a home in his life. He will be shocked to discover that not only will he have to make his own drinks but that toilet paper etc doesnt miraculously appear unless he orders it.

All the stuff that us plebs do without thinking, having learnt as children, he is going to have to learn very quickly.

He won’t. Life will continue as usual with everything done for him. You lot are really letting your wishful imaginations run away with you.

He should be in prison…

I feel sure he will be eventually.

Sorry, but I think you are absolutely deluded if you think Andrew is going to run a home and cook meals! (Your post could well be tongue in cheek, not sure!)

Of course he isn't! He will have housekeepers and a cook to do all that. He won't be timing his boiled eggs to perfection!

I am sure the Palace would love us to be thinking that... oooh, aren't they great, they have dealt with Andrew and now he has to fend for himself! But no, not in a million years.
A housekeeper will arrive to prepare his breakfast, and whilst he is out on his horse, someone will clean the house, iron his clothes, lay them out, and so on

Don't ask for sources please, but I think we are seriously deluded to imagine he is not going to have servants

Thank you, yes, I should've read your post before I typed mine!

NotDarkGothicMama · 05/02/2026 13:29

He'd be better off living in Marsh Farm in Luton. Good community spirit, plenty of amenities, regular police presence.

Shinyandnew1 · 05/02/2026 19:56

I read earlier that staff at Sandringham are striking and refusing to work for AMW!

twilightcafe · 05/02/2026 21:19

I will bet my back garden that the 'cottage' is for show. AMW will be ensconced in The Big House at Sandringham.

It has sullied the Queen, all the work she done, only for her youngest son to destroy her legacy.
Thankfully she isn't here to witness the fall-out .

Her youngest son is Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh.
Andrew was the third child of four.

MO0N · 05/02/2026 22:50

If they punish Andrew too much he'll spill the beans on everything & take them all down with him.

Prince Philip lived in a cottage on the estate for several years from choice. Why wouldn’t Andrew do the same?

AMW is an arrogant idiot with a huge sense of entitlement. I think he would see living in a palace as his birthright - certainly not some !shabby cottage'

Craftysue · 06/02/2026 07:54

At least he won't be waving and gurning at the public. I couldn't believe the pictures of him waving. He has absolutely no shame. I'm surprised nobody gave him a bloody mouth full .

And the reply to that surely should be “Well it was good enough for your father”.

Love this!

Fulmine · 06/02/2026 09:19

Well, the poor love will have to make do with two reception rooms after living in a house with 30 rooms and 6 lodge cottages. How will he possibly cope?

Marsh Farm has apparently got stables and I bet he will have access to the stables at Sandringham so I think he will be out riding a lot and may well still be gurning at the public

What do you think it would take to bribe a horse to throw him? I hear carrots are popular with horses.

Shinyandnew1 · 06/02/2026 11:08

I think Prince Philip moved to Wood farm and-whilst Andrew is there temporarily-he'll be moving to Marsh farm.

AInightingale · 06/02/2026 11:38

Is there any good reason why he can't work on a farm? Mucking out pigs, stables etc. Why the fuck not. Call it community service - he's certainly not going to get any other kind of comeuppance.

Well it’s perhaps something to do with him being 65 and that he wouldn’t know where to start. How would it benefit the community?
