Reading about the Epstein files, the first thing that struck me was the awful photo of Andrew kneeling over what looks like a very young woman, looking extremely pervy.

The second thing was the emails from people like Fergie and Peter Madelson's husband asking for money. "I need 20 grand for rent, today." "I need 10 grand for an osteopath course." Have they no shame whatsoever? Surely if you're friends with a rich person, you're very careful not to mention financial needs so they don't think you're only after their cash? Let alone actually ask for handouts!

I know its all relative the amounts of money tapped by Fergie and Mandelson came from a billionaire.
But tapping 20grand to pay the rent is mental ,it shows they live in a different world to us little people.

If Starmer didn't know about Mandelson there should be an investigation on why he wasn't vetted properly. If Starmer did know about Mandelson there should be an investigation.

It seems to have come out that Mandleson was leaking insider government information to help Epstein to make money. If someone working at a bank did that they would be going to prison.

Andrew the snivelling sweaty entitled man was the prize pig for Epstein to manipulate to have free range and access in the UK, easily bought, easily influenced, like bill gates, Trump and all the other dirty little men.
They never anticipated the #metoo, the mountains of stored evidence, internet detectives.
I hope justice is served.

I think it is also partly about bribery - these people knew what he was up to and had dirt on him. Fergie is clearly terrible with money and also knew her husband was shagging everything that moved in Epstein's house, no matter the age. I think the same is true of Mandleson's partner and they both saw an easy way to keep their bank balance healthy for their turning a blind eye to what he was enabling for their partner's sex predilections while they all get to throw titles around for social lubricant

What has really surprised me from the files is the level of reading and writing of these billionaires! Could Epstein only do maths?

Yes! Emails read like teenagers have typed. I would imagine this was before WhatsApp etc. as now days emails tend to be reserved for more formal communication whereas they were using it like a messenger app.

I was on a fraud jury that was a first thought on their WhatsApp messages. Such a low level it was bizarre.
