Thank you for sharing this. My great grandparents died at Auschwitz in 1943 according to Red Cross records. They sent my grandmother over to the UK at the beginning of the war, she never heard from them again or talked about it up until she died when I was 2. I will light a candle to remember them all x

In memory of my family

It's a little late, but I've just put an LED candle in the window.
Like others on here, my grandfather was among the first British troops at Bergen Belsen. He didn't talk much about what he saw, but what he did tell some of my relatives was unimaginable horror.
