So upset about the killings. No investigation and victim blaming from the Trump administration. I see no hope for America. Trump will cancel the midterms possibly elections or will rig them. The most powerful western country - one we thought was our friend is dying

I have many American friends. I am heartbroken for them, and worried for us all.

I still cling to some hope that there will somehow be free and fair midterms, but I wouldn't bet anything on it.

I can't imagine the despair that decent/unbrainwashed Americans must be feeling.

Pretti did not pull his (legally) concealed firearm at any point. It remained in his waste band until an ICE agent removed it - and that was before the other agent executed him.

All for attempting to help up a woman who had been shoved to the ground.

Maybe they do... but the important factor here that we are discussing is that they shouldn't be shot!!
Ffs no law enforcement would EVER get away with acting like this in the UK and absolutely correctly.
These people were executed without any trial at all basically. Just had their lives taken away.

I don’t know who this man is, have just spent 10 minutes trying to find out without signing up to x, all I can find is a list of films and some incendiary Facebook posts about immigration. So I’m going to go out on a limb and say this fella has an agenda.

You seem to be saying that people should stay at home if they don’t want to be shot by this group of bully boys. Does it genuinely not concern you that this is what your country has become?

In Minnestoa there are background checks for gun purchases, which include whether someone has been sectioned. I do not believe in gun ownership, but in the US they do. So by their own logic, he was not considered unstable. He was also part of a gun community who have said he was fine. If you don't like people legally carrying guns, then tell your representatives. But you can't say a legal gun owner who was carrying legally in the US was unstable simply because he was exercising his legal right.

The only bit of hope I have from this shit show is that people will recognise this is what reform will bring if we vote them in.

I also hope we start investing heavily in our own defence and never depend on another country. You never know what crazies could be voted in. Huge wake up call for the world, I hope.

The US loves their second amendment rights.

If they are saying that this man should not have been carrying his registered weapon, holstered, as is his legal right as an American citizen, then the second amendment is dead.
