Baby on bus eating pizza!

Netcurtainnelly · 11/01/2026 21:38

Would you leave your baby in pushchair eating pizza?

Baby was definitely not walking yet and eating a piece of pizza on their own, lay back abit not even upright in the pushchair!😱

AIBU to think the base of a pizza isn't suitable for a baby, let alone eating without someone really watching over them.😕

Thin crust or deep pan…

Heres the answer.

Generally no — at least not normal pizza.

  • Pizza is usually too salty
  • Often hard or chewy (choking risk)
  • Cheese and tomato sauce can upset sensitive tummies
  • 6 -12 months.

If the baby was young it is unlikely they will eat the whole slice
hard or chewy foods are fine, perfect for teething and learning how to chew
parents will know if cheese and tomato sauce will upset their tummy, never been a problem with mine and all had pizza occasionally from 6 months

ilovepixie · 11/01/2026 22:20

Did the pizza have pineapple on it?

Koolandorthegang · 11/01/2026 21:49

Lucky baby. What I wouldn’t give to be reclined on a bus eating pizza

🤣

TwattyMcFuckFace · 11/01/2026 22:19

So why didn't you just turn to AI in the first place?

Or is it not dramatic enough for you?

😱😱😱

I mean, even that last point assumes the OP is being unreasonable as the child will have been ateast 6-12m by the sound of it

Frequency · 11/01/2026 22:21

Would you judge them for giving their baby a cheese and tomato sandwich?

Is this an undiscovered verse of Wheels on the Bus?

😂😂

😂😂

That's a bit morbid for baby groups... The baby on the bus goes choke choke choke.....

FionnulaTheCooler · 11/01/2026 21:46

Shocking. Everyone knows a Greggs sausage roll is the best way to keep your child quiet on the bus.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Shedeboodinia · 11/01/2026 22:27

I used to leave my baby on the top deck with a donner kebab and a bottle of whitelightning. I would let the bus do a full curcuit while i sat in Spoons by the bus stop. Just pick up baby when the bus came round again.

I wouldn't leave my baby on a bus eating pizza without a can of coke to wash it down with. Clearly that parent is neglectful.

Red Bull is WAY better for pizza munching babies: goes down a treat.

Reddevil666 · 11/01/2026 22:28

So judgemental, you don't know she's neglectful, she might just have been checking if the baby has enough vapes for later on 🤔😆

With a slug of JD, so you get some mum time in the afternoon?

Did the pizza have pineapple on it?

Because that is borderline abusive.

Snugglemonkey · 11/01/2026 22:30

I made my children pizza from they were 6 months old. They loved it.

Moonlightdust · 11/01/2026 22:31

I did baby led weaning with my middle child. I remember doing homemade pizza. I made the base (no different from bread), tomato puree/passatta and cheese (calcium) or shredded chicken or ham (protein). He had 8 teeth by 8 months and had no problem chewing food.

Thanks for making me laugh at end of dismal day.

You're all wrong and need your heads checking. A red bull is the way to go as it gives you wings

All of you are being ridiculous. Clearly the kid needs a rum and Coke.

vodkaredbullgirl · 11/01/2026 22:33

Vodka and red bull

Toottooot · 11/01/2026 22:34

Were you the poster moaning aboot the baby in Burger King wie the burger, chips & apple juice a few weeks ago?

You joke but I've saw a bottle of coke being given to a child in a pushchair outside our local Sheriff court.

vodkaredbullgirl · 11/01/2026 22:00

Iru bru be better

No irn bru now horrible since some sugar replaced by artificial sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners not good for babies

TheSalvadorsStickbymebaby · 11/01/2026 22:35

It was in a baby feeding bottle.

Robyn847 · 11/01/2026 22:36

Ah, be reet. I was weaned on ginger biscuits dunked in tea.
