To be fed up of bossy two year old

Will probably regret starting this thread as toddler threads here often go mental but my two year olds bossy behaviour is really getting on my nerves. It started with just being ordered to ‘sit there mummy’ and it’s evolved to dragging me around, taking a finger and pulling me, trying to shove me down on the sofa if I need to get up, and getting very irate when I don’t do as I am told, it’s tedious as hell. When does it end?

I mean, my op literally says (she is) getting very irate when I don’t do as I am told

I know comprehension is shite on here but surely even the dimmest MNetter is able to deduce from that that I don’t follow my orders; ergo I say no

sheesh

Where you said….living in an oppressive and tyrannical regime though. I assumed was you being sarcastic. However I will answer that at around age 2 children are learning that they are separate from their primary cares and have autonomy.

Now having read your responses to other posters as well as me, I am also wondering what the point of this thread is and not going to engage any further.

So what's the actual point of posting about your toddler if you already suspect that the thread will just go a bit insane?

Humour.
There used be a collective sense of humour on MN but now people take everything literally. Look at some old threads on classics. "Cutted up pear" IIRC. The tone of replies is so different.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. Thank you for announcing that you aren’t going to engage any further. I do love a theatrical exit,

I think if that was posted now everyone would annihilate the OP for her lack of boundaries, and What Were The Consequences For Throwing The Pear

This is such a weird thread. I have one too OP. She's gorgeous and smart and affectionate and caring and kind but also an absolute tyrant at times. It's developmental and entirely normal and hilarious and annoying.
