Centreparcs not giving loo roll

I’m sorry but I think after the amount you spend on CP it is a complete piss take they don’t give you loo roll. Luckily I had pocket tissues but what on Earth?? That level of stinginess has really put me off ever returning

Isn’t it self catering?

BennyHenny · 04/01/2026 15:04

They’ve always supplied at least a roll in each toilet when we’ve stayed there, and as it’s a self-catering break it’s pretty standard to have to buy your own after that.

ShesTheAlbatross · 04/01/2026 15:07

I think that self catering places range in what they provide. Somewhere like eurocamp they don’t provide anything. I went to centreparcs a couple of years ago and they definitely provided it then. Maybe it’s changed.

Iloveeverycat · 04/01/2026 15:08

I always take extra with me or buy with shopping when we get there.

Bloatedas · 04/01/2026 15:09

CP is the worst place for so many reasons I have no idea why on earth it’s so popular

vanillalattes · 04/01/2026 15:09

They're self-catering - you're meant to provide your own.

SnowSnow · 04/01/2026 15:10

Whenever we’ve been there has been at least a roll in each loo

MellowNewt · 04/01/2026 15:11

We stay away a lot in self catering. Always get given loo roll. CP is the only place I have not been given any.

Frogbear · 04/01/2026 15:11

We were last there a couple weeks ago and had a spare toilet roll in each toilet.

Interesting we had absolutely nothing and neither did our friends.

Edited

I have also stayed away a lot in self catering - apart from one spare, they never give loo roll!

Have you actually asked Guest Services?

Okay I must live in a parallel universe cause dh is a pilot so we got to the continent a lot. Never stayed anywhere that didn’t supply loo roll.

I have a bowel problem & they’ve always made sure to include one loo roll there at the start of my stay. You just need to contact their customer service team.

I think it’s ridiculous it’s not given as standard. Fair enough they give it but what an absolute pain in the arse.

Been several times to three different centre parcs. Always get given toilet roll. Did you go to guest services and ask? Always found them very helpful.

Could be the difference between self catering in the UK and abroad? I’ve never done self catering abroad, only in the UK, and it took me a while to get into the habit of bringing extra toilet roll!

MellowNewt · 04/01/2026 15:14

I messaged a group chat I’m on and my friends said the loo roll thing is well known.

But they are given as standard. We go 2-3 times a yearc most recent was a couple weeks ago, and have never had no toilet roll. I suspect the housekeeper has missed it.

You don’t usually have to contact them. Usually there’s a stater roll in each loo… your cleaner must have forgotten or run out and forgot to come back with it.

BettysRoasties · 04/01/2026 15:15

Pretty standard to be given a roll or size wise a half roll in each toilet in self catering places.

Then you buy more.

SnowSnow · 04/01/2026 15:17

MellowNewt · 04/01/2026 15:11

How bizarre. I expect anywhere self catering to have one lol roll to get you started and then you buy more/bring some with you. I’d feedback your surprise to CP and see what they say.

MiddleAgedDread · 04/01/2026 15:17

YANBU id expect any self catering property to have some in each bathroom even if it’s not a full roll or enough to last your entire stay.

GreenPoms · 04/01/2026 15:18

Did you ask them? It may well have been an oversight.

Fitzcarraldo353 · 04/01/2026 15:18

This is the fourth thread about loo roll I've seen on here today. What is going on? 🤣
