The ring is very similar to my sisters and i always wanted one the same.
But i think the boat has sailed for me, i am on my second marriage and never got engaged.

Thanks everyone 🥰 I love it and chose it myself, there was a choice between this which was £1,200 or one that was over £2k but the diamond was slightly bigger. DP did say I could choose whichever I wanted but I preferred this one. I’d always wanted a plain and simple one rather than anything unusual or very bling!

It's clearly your first day here, so I'd suggest that you take your usual world view of people saying nice things to somebody who has just got engaged, is happy to be engaged and wants to show people her lovely, meaningful ring - and chuck it in the bin.

If you want to announce your engagement/show off your ring, just say that. If you ask a bunch of random strangers what they think of it, you’re going to get either dishonesty, people only replying if they have something nice to say, or people being unkind and/or rude. I just cannot see the point of the post, or where the OP would believe she’s going to benefit at all from posting it.

See posts like this is one of the reasons why we left Britain. I didn't want my son to end up with a woman who would make drama over her engagement ring 💍 instead of being happy that she was going to spend her life with a wonderful, handsome, intelligent man who is good at cooking.
