To be concerned about my dd being friends with this woman

My dd is only 22 year old and she’s become friends with a middle aged 29 year old lady. Aibu to be concerned due to the huge age gap and the fact this woman must have completely different life goals to my young daughter

Whaaat?! At work when I was 22 one of my good friends was the same age as my mum (46). She had daughters my age! I got on well with them aswell. She did the make up for my wedding when I was 29. I got married, left work and moved away. Moved back with my family and regularly took my sons to see her. Sadly she died 2 years ago at aged 75. I never saw her as a mum figure as I had my own mum. She was just one of my really good friends.

I'm 27 and one of my closest friends is 52!

I have a very close friend who is 14 years younger than me, we just click have the same outlook on life and it works. Age is but a number.

Nothing strange about it at all. She's old enough to make her own decisions. Fwiw, my brother (nearly 58) has 3 friends who are between 25-30 years younger than him & they get on great. I fail to see any problem whatsoever

Must be a wind up. I was 27 when I started a job with loads of older people in the team and made fast friends with some amazing women, who were about 50 at that time. The only negative thing about these friendships is that I won't have them in my middle aged years to laugh with!
