Why is there even a chance of any of these two remaining here in the UK? They had their chance and ended up doing what they did.

*deported

As the majority of rapists in this country are white British, what should we do with them? Isn’t there a place called Anthrax Island? Is it big enough to ‘deport’/house all the white British rapists?

If we could get rid of British rapists too, that would be great. But the fact that we can't is no reason to tolerate even more rapists, especially those who are per capita far more likely to offend.

The prison situation in the UK could be solved by deporting the 10,000 foreign inmates.
Plenty of room then for our own crims

Yes that's exactly what I propose but I do think they should be made to serve their sentences first. Simple deportation may seem like a reward if it's in place of serving their sentence. Unless there is a guarantee that they will serve the sentence in their country of origin. But it's very expensive to keep them in UK prisons and we don't have the space. (Except when it's needed immediately for the rushed through trials of working class white men who riot outside migrant hotels, and white middle class women who say stupid things in anger on social media, obviously. Then there is suddenly and miraculously space at the drop of a hat. But not for left wing politicians who call publicly for the thoats to be cut of those very sorts of people. Their trials are not expedited in urgency, in spite of being almost identical in tone and content but with one notable difference - the ethnicity and political leanings of the intended targets of the comments. This is the reality of the criminal justice system under this government.)

We should ship foreign nationals found guilty of ALL crime that warrants a prison sentence out to somewhere cheaper to serve their time, like the Rwanda scheme but for prisons, then deport from there them afterwards. And anyone who has been granted British citizenship in, let's say the previous 5 years, should have it revoked and they should be shipped out to prison as well.

Thing is, questioning them sounds like an even less reliable method of determining age.

No one who does the assessments think they're fool proof, but trying to determine age (to such a specific range) by physical characteristics is about as reliable as trying to predict criminality based on someone's skull shape. With the same undercurrents of non white races being more likely to be discriminated against. So unless you have a better option, it's what they've got.

The guidance is that if it's borderline, to assess as younger. They can only assess as over 18 if it's very clear that the young person is well over 18. I know some people won't like that, but the alternative is risking genuine children being put in adult services and not receiving the care and protection they deserve, so they have to err on the side of caution.

What do you mean? 🧐I am following the thread and have commented this morning on other posts on the thread. You often comment on my posts on other threads. And in this case I haven't even commented on your post, but replied to another poster. Is that not allowed?

I've just read the impact on the poor victim, the child is so anxious now she is often physically sick. No one puts the victim first and foremost. How does she feel about her attackers being freed in a few years? Seems the emphasis is on the attackers not the poor child raped.

Hmm. Do you have a link please? The creator of that graphic (@juice8882) seems to be a far right Twitter account.

Your post didn’t surprise me. But if you think the summary below is incorrect feel free to show it.

Having looked information shows eight is very low, but maybe you can find something to counter.

You want me to Google things to help you support your position? I'd weirdly assumed that you already had some more information than 'the AI summary that Google produces' given the amount of asylum seeking/immigration/yada yada threads you pop up on. I mean you might for example be the kind of person laying all this at the feet of the present government while 'quoting' information relating to previous administrations, but without you seemingly able to cite the information you're presenting, who knows?

I’d prefer you to use the resource that is the internet to get what you’re after, instead of asking others to do it for you. It’s easily accessible.

You can do it I’m sure it’s not too hard. Just instead of posting a question to me post it in a search bar. If you think the below is wrong find out more.

That might have something to do with them being British Citizens, but don't let the truth get in the way of your rhetoric . . .

Not all of them were born in the UK

PandoraSocks · 09/12/2025 10:04

You are being slightly disingenuous I think. The graphic you posted wasn't created by the Home Office, was it?

StandFirm · 09/12/2025 10:06

I think those cases are absolutely awful and I'm wondering about the best way to serve justice for the poor girl. These two guys should 1) be punished harshly for what they've done, but it should be about what they've DONE and not what they are 2) they should serve their sentence in an adult prison, I thought there was some flexibility around that if the perp is close to turning 18. Deporting is all well and good but I thought the problem with Afghanistan and other similar countries is that afaik we can't deport migrants to states we don't officially recognise. Leaving the ECHR will do previous little to solve that particular issue. Finally, they will rape again back home and that might mean some poor girl may have to marry the lowlives. Of course, I don't want them to rape anybody here either...

Do you dispute the statistics? Why does it matter who made the graph using home office data?

whataguddle · 09/12/2025 10:07

There has just been another rape by an Afghan reported announced on TV and in the papers.

Afghan national charged with raping two 14-year-old girls in Bolton.

It happened on Sunday.

They should be deported they come from countries alien to ours.

Get them gone.

Of course it matters who created the graphic. Data can be manipulated. Looking at the source of the graphic makes it is clear to me what they are trying to achieve.

Because with data, context and bias do matter.

Not all of them were born in the UK

They are British citizens and the Tory government tried to remove two persons of their citizenship despite knowing those actions were contrary to both international and national law. That's why they have not been deported and are unlikely to be.

You clearly know very little about statistics and data and how the gathering of statistics can provide both intentional and unintentional bias. That's why the origin of the statistics is as important as the content. People with the benefit of an enhanced education are able to work these things out for themselves. There's some very good academic papers on this, why don't you seek them out and arm yourself with the knowledge as it does add coherence to ones arguments?
