Why is there even a chance of any of these two remaining here in the UK? They had their chance and ended up doing what they did.

*deported

One has been handed deportation papers. The other has been recommended for deportation but as he is 17, the judge cannot make that decision and it has been handed to the government who will no doubt deport him. This is a total non story that OP has posted in order to get people frothing about immigration.

Yes - I know that one has deportation papers. I still thinks it’s not an invalid conversation topic. We have a lot of foreign nationals in our prisons. I think the default should be that the international community agrees prisoners should be returned home to serve sentences in their own countries closer to their family.

And when it comes to immigration policy we do need to remember that we create the society we live in through the choices we make. When we allow inverted men from misogynistic countries to roam our streets these crimes are highly predictable. Our government is culpable. This particular pair had, I think, already been processed, but many of the recent assaults on women and girls were by men who had been here for a very short time and were still in a hotel. They should not be free to commit crimes until the authorities are confident they don’t pose a risk.

ComfortFoodCafe · 09/12/2025 07:27

What they should do is pay the scottish goverment for use of one of the islands that have no population & build a detention centre & put all of them there away from the british public, for our own safety. Only way to leave is through being deported back to your own country. Win win.
They should not be having free rein to roam around in between the public, they have proven time & time again they are nothing but dangerous criminals.
I said what I said, I am no means racist but they should not be anyone unchecked just walking around free to do as they please. The country is fucked, the police can’t deal with it as they are to busy arresting people for what they post on social media or dealing with woke agendas to actually keep the streets safe.

Exactly. Im non white and already I can sense that brown and black people who have been in this country for 2 generations plus are going to bear the brunt of the inevitable backlash. Already a MP whose mistake was to be born in Kashmir is being told she is not British and has no right to sit in Parliament. All because we can't have a sensible immigration policy like most other countries.

Thanks liberal lefties!

💯 agree..I live in a very diverse community, prior to 2022, most people mixed and lived well. My nieces boyfriend born here aged 22, told to go back to Africa.
I had a rant on SM asking locals to be mindful as the communities are being damaged, thw long-term citizens are equally concerned about the level of immigration and being bullied in the mess.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 09/12/2025 07:24

No necessarily true.
In Ireland, two refugees had a fight with knifes, one died, both had previously charged in Italy for rape, deported to Nigeria before popping over to Ireland.
There is no international checks as both were registered for payment and accommodation.

We're talking about the UK. Ireland will have its own rules

Ok. You might be right.

Some times that doesn’t matter.

This is a tangential point, but years ago I went to a talk by the author of a book that had really resonated with me. It was so disappointing. She couldn’t answer basic questions. I left thinking that the book had written itself as all the interesting conversation it generated in others completely passed her by.

We absolutely should not be returning people before they serve their sentences. There’s no guarantee they would serve any time

What proportion of asylum seekers have successfully been deported to Afghanistan after a crime?

I think I read recently there was a plan to deport them without them serving their sentence. A proper treaty involving agreement to enforce the sentence would be needed for my suggestion to work. It does happen, but seemingly only rarely.

8 since 2021. Why?

ETA these are offenders in general. Not sure of their asylum status but I’m sure you have those figures

Someone who arrived on a small boat recently was arrested on arrival as he’d previously been deported following a crime. Came straight back. Most surprising thing to me was that he was picked up so quickly when he came back. What’s to stop them giving a false name.

The UK issues deportation papers too, and people who receive them, don't leave.
The government and people here in Ireland are aware that a big percentage of the 800,000 have come here from the UK after their application failed.
They're moving all around Europe.
They need to be physically deported.

‘While asylum seekers convicted of serious crimes are targets for deportation, the actual proportion returned to Afghanistan is extremely low due to international law and the dangerous situation in the country’, The Guardian.

As much as pp post it’s fine they’ll be deported it is extremely low in summary.

scorpiogirly · 09/12/2025 08:02

They should be hung drawn and quartered.

Need to go back a few centuries for that.

The horrendous attack on Bournemouth beach, the rape alone would be horrendous but to be raped on rocks by 3 men, medieval times are upon us.

TeatimeForTheSoul · 09/12/2025 08:13

As the majority of rapists in this country are white British, what should we do with them? Isn’t there a place called Anthrax Island? Is it big enough to ‘deport’/house all the white British rapists?

TeatimeForTheSoul · 09/12/2025 08:15

Just thought of how to empty a couple more houses in this housing crisis.
How about we send all those found to be taking Russian bribes, i.e. are Russian spies, … deport them to Russia!!

Wasn’t there a Reform leader convicted recently? And there’s a new investigation just started.

Unfortunately not, it's a pity as I'm sure they'd come on handy as war fodder.
What does happen to local men, is they're named, shamed, the neighbours, families, community, and their relations know the name and face, the mud sticks wherever they go, unlike non local men as their face is forgotten, so warnings can't be done.

I read some years ago that Norway do DNA tests and dental age tests. They find all sorts of anomalies. False reunification claims are a big one.

I think the biggest funder of brexit, Aaron Bank had a Russian wife with a really dodgy background. I think she came here with a friend, friend worked for an MP and someone in this group was convicted of spying. I can't remember the details, I'll try to find out.
