We're kind of talking about two different things here.
I agree with you. It's extremely important to stamp out racism with prejudice. No acceptance of it whatsoever. The racists think that people are on their sides and they've become more vocal. The antidote is loudly showing them that we are not.
HOWEVER... Rachel peddles lies. She's on the level of Gript. But she's gotten into this position of prominence, in no small part due to being supported by Israeli media. The same Israeli media who also regularly peddle horrendous lies. That's what I have an issue with.
There is a genocide occuring in Gaza. There is also a propaganda war occurring to obfuscate that AND discredit people who stand against it. That cannot be disputed - look at the treatment of Francesca Albanese and the people on the boats who tried to breach the naval barricade, to name just two examples of many.
That is where I see a murky edge to Rachel's articles. As I previously posted, she has outright lied in her content, such as claiming that Irish people were out celebrating in the street on Oct 7th.
Anti-Semitism is wrong and unacceptable. I will not stand for it. But I also cannot stand for someone with a platform pushing outright lies about Ireland and the Irish people.
