Neighbour heard everything!

So I have been divorced a year and have been talking to a guy for a good while (we have met a few times prior to this) anyway, we ended up back to my house one night and my neighbour heard the whole thing. To the point where she knocked on the wall. I want to die of embarrassment, I saw her the other morning and she usually says hi, nothing, I think she now hates me.

I know she's on her own because she lives alone and I can actually hear the vibrator through the wall. I hear her plug it in, start it up, then the moaning. Its clearly one of the mains operated wands. I've lived next to hear for 6 years and this is a near nightly occurrence.

No you cannot hear the thing vibrating! That’s ludicrous nonsense. You’re just being nasty. A lot of people plug in mood lighting during ‘intimacy’ it could be any number of things. Though I must say, I live in a new build semi and even I don’t hear my neighbours plug things in! Are you in a pre-fab?

I'm in a very badly insulated house with thin walls that leak because the landlord refuses to do repairs so it wouldn't surprise me. And yes, I can hear the vibrating. I'm also autistic and have very sensitive hearing, I have to use ear defenders daily. Maybe YOU can't hear things but that doesn't mean other people can't hear them. Hope this helps :)

AntitheticalDreamgirl · 12/11/2025 15:20

I also don't know how it's being nasty to say my neighbour masturbates. I don't think there's any shame in masturbating. I do it myself. I'd expect every person on this thread does it.

LemaxObsessive · 12/11/2025 17:46

@AntitheticalDreamgirl🤨 Sure! 👍🏻

You made a point twice on one post and again on another, to make it clear that your neighbour was ‘going solo’ when it was irrelevant to your overall point. You just emphasised it to be mean. All you had to say was “I can hear my neighbour moaning/at it every night” or similar. If there’s one thing I cannot stand it’s veiled digs, especially when denied after the fact. Just nasty.

Take her a bottle of wine; hand it over while apologising.
Then produce a second bottle from behind your back and say, 'And this is for the next time!' Run away, chortling loudly.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

No never, this one was a bit more spicy I’m guessing

Maybe she was envious

Pinkbasketcase · 12/11/2025 18:13

They need to get a life!! Hi-five to you! 😊

Whatsthatsheila · 12/11/2025 18:34

Get one of those lemons that everyone’s raving about / that’ll give her (and you!) something to moan about 😉 🍋

ForTipsyFinch · 12/11/2025 18:42

My neighbour makes an absolute racket and sounds like a seagull squawking - I mean good for her but I don’t especially want to hear that. If I did I would watch porn hub. It you’re making enough noise your neighbours can hear every detail it’s pretty creepy tbh.

PinkPonyClubDancer · 12/11/2025 18:58

Those saying she’s jealous, grow the fuck up. Kids next door shouldn’t have to listen to people screwing. Gross.

brunettemic · 12/11/2025 19:01

You had good, possibly great, sex and at least one orgasm…can’t see the issue personally!

Next time you see her just wave really excitedly and yell in a very jolly tone "Good morning, Marg darling!" (Whatever their name is)

It’s really intrusive anyway, but when a young child asks what the noise is it isn’t great - no need for it either the noise I hear from my neighbour is ridiculous 😅

TodaRythm · 12/11/2025 19:01

She is just jealous 😂😂😂

This.

If the neighbour had never complained in the past and has suddenly complained now then I'm assuming they were both being really performative and loud

I'd blank you too imagine how loud you must of been for her to hear that. I'd be cringing

quiet sex is not pruddish, just considerate

Exactly.. you can enjoy sex and still be quiet if you have kids in the house etc. Don't have to squeal like a bad porno 🤣

Look on the bright side, if she heard you ok, next time put the radio on, or use a different room. You can't put a stop on your life, is she married or have a partner?

Missingpop · 12/11/2025 19:51

She’d just jealous you were being given a bloody good Shang & she’s a dried up crusty prude ignore her shag his brains out each & every time he comes round

Blablibladirladada · 12/11/2025 20:11

😂😂 oh well!

you don’t sound too sorry and she is entitled to be not so keen of hearing whatever you are up to so maybe stop expecting her to say hi and move on?

Eurgh. You sound like a vile man with his hands down his shorts.

Ladygardenerinderby · 12/11/2025 20:19

😂😂😂 I rekon she’s getting none n she’s jealous . Maybe turn down the volume in future in case her kids hear but she’s being a bit dramatic if it was just the one time

Just reminded me how me and my husband used to hear our next door neighbours vibrator in the middle of the night, every other night, followed by one moaning and the other screaming. I knocked on the wall. Thankfully it stopped!

Read the thread. The OP says it was the bed creaking, not any screaming or moaning.
