Please remember that Monroe Bergdorf
may have had surgery on his face and boobs
he still has full block and tackle (playboy photo shoot is proof)

And was sacked by NSPCC as a safeguarding concern after suggesting kids contact him, an unknown adult man, directly via social media.
The whole glitter family shit is going to throw up a lot of skeletons before long, as has started happening with alphabet youth groups in Scotland.

Of course she's right. Biological women are being trolled at this point. Didn't Glamour go from monthly to quarterly a while back because sales weren't great? Go figure...

Yes it feels like this.

localnotail · 31/10/2025 19:41

Dolls - as in plastic, soulless and cold? Are they happy to be called that?

BellaTrixLeStrange1 · 31/10/2025 20:19

I’m with you! If looking like someone on the cover of that magazine is what makes you a woman, I’m definitely not a woman. I’m flat chested, not particularly attractive, have short hair, don’t wear make up and wear flat shoes… so does that make me a man?! Fortunately I’m too busy carrying the mental load of my entire family, and managing the long term physical damage of child birth, to spend too much time worrying about this.

@ByShyRaven SHAME ON YOU. and i feel sorry for your daughters if you have any.

Ha ok.

yes, I have two daughters. But luckily I’m bringing them up as proud feminists in a multi cultural left leaning city that doesn’t punch down on minorities.

Women still have to overcome the glass ceiling, the gender pay gap, and all that jazz. How is 9 XY people being named “Women of the Year” and 0 XX people being given that title not “punching down”?

Do you teach them a girl can dress however they like and do whatever they want but their sex can’t change?

Didn't Glamour name Caitlyn Jenner one of their Women of the Year ten years ago? And now they've gone the whole hog and named nine TIMs Women of the Year. It's beyond parody. They said women were paranoid for saying TIMs were replacing women, and now look what's happening.

Edited

TBF, it’s Shon Faye that has claimed nine TIMs as Women of the Year. And included himself in there.

Grifters gonna grift.

Would you be happy if one of them excelled in say, swimming, and a male who was mediocre in the men’s, ‘transitioned’ aka just said ‘I’m a woman now’ and competed against your daughter, with all the physiological advantages being a male brings in sport?

Blimey, men in dresses are not 'minorities'.

Centring males is not feminism,

Hopefully your daughters will set you right on this more and more young people are seeing trans activism for the inherent mysogyny that it is.

I genuinely think she would be happy with that. Her poor daughters.

ProudCat · 31/10/2025 22:52

Sorry, can't see it as I don't use X - ya know, due to the fact that it's run by a really shady bloke who doesn't seem to treat women very well. Not sure why she wants to build his company for him.

Excellent work Glamour - I'll get a copy from the newsagents. Wouldn't be aware of this otherwise so thanks OP! The rest of the women of the year are also worth reading about - including Hannah Hampton, a first class goalie who helped us secure a second Euros victory.

Haven’t bought or read it in years. I will now though.

Women in prisons are a minority. Women who have experienced trauma at the hands of men are (just about) a minority. Women in professional sport are a minority. Women whose religion forbids them to share single sex spaces with men are a minority. Women in refuges are a minority. Women who don’t want to get undressed in front of their male colleagues are a minority. Men, on the other hand, are not a minority, irrespective of how they choose to present themselves.

Feminism requires that you centre women. If you are teaching your daughters that men should also be centred in their feminism and that there’s nothing to worry about so they should just shut up, budge over and be kind, you are doing them a grave disservice. For their sake, I hope they never discover just how much of a disservice.

Also, it’s got sod all to do with a hatred of trans people. Shame on you for very clearly not reading what JKR wrote in one of her first written pieces on the subject. As TRAs are so keen on pointing out, trans people have existed for a very long time and it has been women who have so often been their biggest champions and protectors. But if you can’t see that in order for transwomen to have all the rights some of them are demanding, women have to completely give up their hard won rights to single sex spaces. Rights that our sex fought a battle for. There is a conflict. That might not bother you, but it bothers enough women that a line has been drawn.

Feminists are people that can name one thing that differentiates a man from a woman.

If you smirked and said "feeling like a man" then you didn't even get as far as understanding the question.

Magazines like Glamour are SO irrelevant in the life of any rational woman as to be heading towards obsolescence. Thank fuck. The boys are welcome to it.

This type of inane post is becoming too common - a variation of ‘I don’t like the message, so I’ll shoot the messenger’. Did you even read the article in question?

Well, so-called "women's" magazines were originally started by men, after all. Mainly to "help show" women how they could be more ideal supporters to men, homemakers, prettier etc. Not much has changed, imo, it's just more fashion-industry oriented now - again, all about how we can be prettier and more useful "dolls" for men. This vacuous cover seems like the logical end point of the male-centric fashion mag ethos, really.

Agree. I have wondered for decades why womens fashion designers were mostly men , and even more oddly gay men. A weird conundrum.

aibu to think she is spot on? shame on glamour magazine (does anyone still read it?)

in the 15th - 17th century men persecuted women as witches, in the 19th century men had their wives committed so they could have another woman or simply because they had grown bored of them. women didn't get the vote until the 20th century and in some countries not till the 1980s. not to mention rape, genital mutilation foot binding. all these things to try to dominate and control us. and now not content with that some are are now telling us they are us. no you are not you are men with a gender dysphoria or men with a sexual kink. but still men

Trans ideology is deeply homophobic - it is punching down. Lesbians haven't even been able to safely meet up or say they don't want to sleep with someone with a penis. This whole movement has been terrible for gay people and gender non-conforming people who will be left even more confused.

QueueThisWay · 01/11/2025 03:08

Dolls? Urgh. Its all so fucking creepy.

I cannot believe that ‘‘celebrating diversity/inclusion/WOMEN’ now boils down to half naked men with extreme plastic surgery parading around in stilettos and being affectionately called ‘the dolls’.

Sinister as fuck.

I don't see it quite that way. I have a lot of sympathy for the whole "stuck in the wrong body" thing. I originate from a country which has had "eunuchs" for centuries, and a widespread and unquestioned understanding and acceptance of these individuals into their (not especially elevated) status in society. It's a thing. Not in anywhere near the proportions that social media would have you believe in the handful of western countries that seem to have lost their minds to this concept, and there's definitely a lot of bandwagonning going on - but I don't dismiss it out of hand. Basically, I think there is a third category and I feel desperately sorry for the hard path these people have to beat. They're deserving of status and respect the same as the other two categories of humans. But that path is necessary because they're neither men nor women, they're something else. So this kind of tweet is just bollocks (ha). Clickbait, basically.

So there must be two groups of people who are “stuck in the wrong body”. The people claiming it and those who got the bodies these people were supposed to have? Do the second group know they are in the wrong bodies? How does this happen? Is it like a production line where something like a soul is put in a body and someone let the intern have a go and they put the souls in the wrong bodies? I have so many questions about this batshit theory.
