Bored of dating. Just thinking how great it would be to ship in or import some sort of instant husband like via Amazon. Obviously they would have to consent too lol. No terrible unrealistic expectations nor would they need to be anything other than reliable, friendly and a bit of a laugh.
I wouldn’t even care if he had affairs.
Who would you marry if you had the choice? I’m going through a bit of a reggaeton phase hence the fetishisation of Latino men, I know it’s appalling. But I also think they would make good husbands. Plus be good looking.

Luckily mine is very old and of a generation that would never take his top off in public. As an aside I don’t get the love for the pretty boys. I am old though. My Nan used to call those sort ‘good looking nowts’ 😂.

I’ve gone off rugged men. I just don’t find them appealing anymore (due to bad experiences I guess). There’s something soothing in soft skin and warm brown eyes and the sort of visual perfection only a Korean ‘idol’ seems to possess. All pure fantasy of course, I’m sure some are douches, and some (but not all) are helped by cosmetic tweaks. But I do think visually I’d rather see a beautiful Korean face than any other.

You can do this. A Brazilian girl , friend of my daughters, with law degree imported a fellow country man who worship the ground she's on. He works hard any job just to be able to feel macho.

I know this is a pretty common thing for white women but I have a big thing for men from Africa. I keep thinking about booking a flight to somewhere like Nigeria and seeing how many hookups I can go for in two weeks.

I learnt to dance reggaeton in Cuba 20 years ago dancing with the woman who ran the little night club (supposed to be for locals only).

The local men were proposing to European women in the street but it was all very good natured and not creepy.

YANBU. I’d quite like one myself! Or Caribbean. Their negative stereotypes in my opinion are outweighed by good ones, and still overall seems better than any British man I’ve had to deal with - including my husband !

I recall I read a study in a magazine back a few years back and they ranked men from all the countries in the world and British men came right at the bottom! My younger self was surprised but with age it has become absolutely clear that they weren’t wrong! One of the biggest unseen advantages of immigration is all the hunky foreign men that are instantly accessible and I just love it so much!

I honestly don't think there is any racism on this thread - I'd be first to say so if there was.

It seems to be a genuinely light-hearted view of men from around the world - not based on their race but on perceived stereotypes as to their behaviour. Lots of women are happily married to men from next door/overseas; or unhappily as the case may be!
