Bored of dating. Just thinking how great it would be to ship in or import some sort of instant husband like via Amazon. Obviously they would have to consent too lol. No terrible unrealistic expectations nor would they need to be anything other than reliable, friendly and a bit of a laugh.
I wouldn’t even care if he had affairs.
Who would you marry if you had the choice? I’m going through a bit of a reggaeton phase hence the fetishisation of Latino men, I know it’s appalling. But I also think they would make good husbands. Plus be good looking.

I would go for a Welsh man. I have never had a relationship with one or even dated one but every Welsh man I’ve ever met has been a very nice, down-to-earth chap (I’m sure there are some terrible Welsh men- there are terrible men everywhere). The Welsh accent is the best accent in the world IMO, and the Welsh are great at singing (except the ones that aren’t, I guess) and I like singing so we could sing together.

I was going to say a beautiful looking korean man too 😁 I watch too many kdramas lol and have just watched one with Cha Eun Woo. How can any other country compete with such beauty.

@PeonyPatch I didn’t used to particularly see the appeal of Korean men but my DD went through a K-pop phase, and spent a lot of time showing me videos and pics of her favourite K-pop artists. We went to Wembley to see BTS. A whole audience of girls aged approximately 12-18. Oh my word, the screaming!

By the end of DD’s K-pop era, I really started to see the appeal. Such handsome men! ❤️

The stereotypes are that they are are jealous, controlling, hot blooded and always horny, but treat their women well often love-bombing them.
unfortunately in my experience (living in SA for many years) I have seen a lot of truths to the stereotypes.
They are also however very funny, caring, complementing, romantic.

Societally Korea is quite conservative and very hierarchical (underpinned by Confucianism), as well as having an insanely competitive education and work culture. Highest number of suicides and also highest amount of cosmetic surgery in the world, I believe.

There are dreadful men in every culture. Renting one to go dancing with or for a night out might be fun. More like a prime kindle book rather than as escort (as a business model, maybe not).

I love the aesthetics of the actors/singers, definitely right up my street, don’t even mind the make up, but the actual day to day culture would do my head in. It’s just as well I don’t do relationships anymore because on a visual level no one is going to be able to compete against a beautiful looking Asian guy.

I wanted a few children and was happy to be a SAHM. I also like dogs and walking, don't mind roughing it a bit, so realised too late that I should have went in search of an Irish farmer. My granddad (not biological) was Italian, i'd have fitted in there, as well. My biological grandfather had to flee Canada, as a first nation person, so definately not Canada, unless I wanted to join my abused/exploited/murdered family members.

@Westfacingbut Chile’s prime minister seems a beautiful, modern man. I think he’d probably put up with me playing Rage Against the Machine in the car, but would also help me with my Spanish grammar.
I’m partly thinking of this as a duo lingo substitute so I don’t have to put up with that awful owl anymore. Much better to learn with a beautiful man instead, but might be difficult to concentrate on the past participle.
