You literally couldn’t make this shit up.

This country is broken.

Reform should send David Lamey a big thankyou note for this gift.

This asylum seeker was going around on a bicycle assaulting women. We only know if the cases which were reported.
He said that he "didn't know it was against the law". Ok, that tells us a lot about where he came from, but also there is no system for education and integration.
Genuinely. There is a problem.

Reading the details of what was done to the young mother has made me cry this evening. An ordinary woman, just working a minimum wage job to pay the rent and bills, having to use public transport to get home from her shift late at night. Stabbed in the head over twenty times with a screwdriver. Five year old left behind.

And getting upset about unvetted young men being put up in communities with no oversight is apparently racist. So many concerns about the rights of these men, zero concern about the safety of women and girls. It makes me despair. You just know that this won't change anything.

So awful. Me too.

AnareticDegree · 24/10/2025 19:19

Yes, this country is broken OP.

But I am far more concerned about the filthy evil non-immigrant nonces born and bred here who are polluting the internet and traumatising 100s of children every single day of the week. And the 100s of maladjusted non-immigrant boys whose parents haven't got a clue what they are seeing and doing online. Because they will be the ones creating headlines shortly.

Can Reform can stop that and work with tech companies to keep children safe? I don't know, but I do know that that useless fuckwit Starmer cannot and will not, as he has no idea what the actual purpose of a government is.

Who is going to teach this poster some
basic math and proportions and representation?

😅😅😅😅 I can't!!!! It's Friday. It's been a long week.

If I had a £ for everytime some idiot told us that most criminals in this country are white, I would be a rich woman.

How can they not understand?? 💁‍♀️🤔🤔🤔

Not sure your comment is the flex you think it is. Being happy about a sexual offender walking free shows you up to be kind of person you must be.

I never said I was happy did I? It makes the prison service look incompetent but this happens more often than people realise.

Because these crimes would not have happened if the UK asylum system was working. Those little girls and women would not have been raped or killed if these men were not in the country.

Some nationalities commit some crimes at disproportionate rates to the native British, that should not be ignored or swept under the rug. It helps no one.

I'm far from a reform supporter as an immigrant myself, but this is just stupid. Unvetted criminal men should not be given an opportunity to be freely roaming the UK committing crime.

Totally agree!

Birlingsaresnobs · 24/10/2025 19:15

And the connection is?

If you really can't see any connection between the two stories, I don't think any kind of explanation- no matter how simple I try to make it for you- is going to help.

And I know perfectly well you're not interested in an explanation. You just want to shut people up. Because you've decided that the safety of women and girls is so far down your list of priorities, that you'll actively try to shut up people who do care about it. Because, for whatever deluded reason, you've decided that that makes you a good person. Hint: it doesn't.

Witchcraftandhokum · 24/10/2025 19:24

And that's fine, but when will reform (and it's abusing MP's) do something about the 2 women and girls who are killed by their partners or ex-partners EACH WEEK.

PolarExpression · 24/10/2025 19:24

Yanbu.

The government are more bothered about taking care of asylum seekers than they are about the rights of women and girls.

Ablondiebutagoody · 24/10/2025 19:24

AmyDudley · 24/10/2025 18:23

They were men who committed crimes, the BBC doesn't actually have to say they are asylum seekers. Far more men who are not asylum seekers commit crimes against women every day. They aren't reported as 'man who a born and bred in UK commits crime'. why not ?

And David Lammy is hardly personally responsible for a mistale by a prison ( a prison system the tories had more than enough time to reform but did nothing about.)

Because we are stuck with those born here. We don't have to let in additional rapists if we don't want to.

WildLimePoet · 24/10/2025 19:25

Sacrificing safety of women and girls at the altar of woke!

Hmmm, where have we seen that before in recent times. I wonder.

Always the same people isn’t it.

The fact he was an asylum seeker is irrelevant.
The issue here is that a prisoner was released incorrectly.

of Course it's NOT irrelevant. If we were PROTECTING our borders properly, he wouldn't have even been here! .

Reform are not in government so can’t exactly do a lot. I don’t know why everyone keeps expecting them to do the job of our current government instead of asking what Starmer and Co are up to.

So you are anti any routes into the uk for asylum seekers?

BeardofHagrid · 24/10/2025 19:30

I wish on the News they wouldn’t say this repulsive man attacked a 14-year-old girl, but rather a child. There’s no other descriptor necessary.

What can Reform do? They’re not even the official opposition.

This kind of comment is exactly what pushes them forward. This is for Labour to sort.

@TheaBrandt1the Guy who killed Rhiannon was an illiterate man from Sudan who had never been to school, abandoned his pregnant wife and claimed he was a child in Italy and Germany (who rejected his claims but didn’t deport him before he absconded) before arriving in the U.K. Whilst not all of these types are rapists or murderers, we have to be honest about what they have to offer,
frankly. And lying about your age isn’t likely to mean you’re going to lead a life of honour, is it? Unfortunately, we seem to need people to consent to bone scans for age verification, which seems nuts to me.

I don't see how David Lammy is personally responsible for this appalling cock up. I'm sure Reform and its groupies will be crowing about it though.

Really? That's all you have to say? A man who sexually assaulted a 14 year old girl who is so traumatised that she looks behind her shoulder every time she leaves the house, but all you care about is reforms response?! Have a word with yourself

Of course it's relevant;

Kebatu was meant to be sent to an immigration detention centre to be deported but was freed by mistake.
