You literally couldn’t make this shit up.

This country is broken.

Reform should send David Lamey a big thankyou note for this gift.

What on earth do you mean?!

What is a reform prison??

Reform are like Carlesberg. They do prisons now too. Apparently.

The prison officer has been taken off discharge duties.
Sloppy adherence to procedure I would imagine.

OptiMumm · 24/10/2025 19:02

Quite a large crowd gathered already outside the Bell in Epping.

The pp has to put it on Reform for some reason even though Labour are in gov

The Home Office is the most dysfunctional government department. Utterly hopeless and actively works against elected representatives. It must stop.

The Justice Department is responsible for prisons, not the Home Office - for once!

MissKitty0 · 24/10/2025 19:04

It’s kids I feel sorry for. They’re going to grow up in an unsafe third world hellhole because our politicians and civil servants get some sort of social status from virtue signalling. When I was growing up it was perfectly safe for me to walk to primary school. Now that absolutely wouldn’t be the case in any kind of big city.

IkeaJesusChrist · 24/10/2025 19:05

I'm in Chelmsford and the local gammons are livid.

TheaBrandt1 · 24/10/2025 19:05

God it’s not looking good is it? Even the Guardian is reporting on these two cases.

I don’t get it. If you’ve risked life and limb to get here been kindly given somewhere to live why on earth would you jeopardise that by committing crime in your host country? Makes no sense.

Do they come here with the intention to have access to the women here who being free are easier targets? If so that is really really worrying and maybe the much derided “far right” aren’t as outrageous as we are supposed to think.

WildLimePoet · 24/10/2025 19:07

One week, three times Labour showed their true face.

Grooming gang victims walk out of the ‘inquiry that was’ saying they don’t trust Jess Phillips. The self styled champion of women’s right who likened the sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year’s Eve to a night out in Birmingham. Disgusting.

Migrant deported under ‘one in, one out, one back in’ scheme comes back on a small boat. So the scheme has actually increased the number of asylum seekers coming into the country. What a victory.

And now the guy responsible for Epping protests because he sexually assaulted a girl within days of arriving in the country walks out of prison within weeks of going in.

Just shows you batshit crazy some people are, trying to defend this government.

No, they come here and treat women in the same way that women are treated in their home country, i.e. very badly.

xanthomelana · 24/10/2025 19:10

This country is a shambles. How can they let the wrong person out of prison and then have another one who’s pretending to be 19 even though records in Germany place him as older? I don’t understand why people don’t think this is a problem, we’ve got undocumented people arriving here daily and have no idea of their age or background and then they pay them to leave and they come back at the earliest opportunity they get. The world must be laughing at us.

I would imagine quite a few people in Chelmsford are livid that a convicted sex offender has been mistakenly released.

Adooree · 24/10/2025 19:10

So was it the fault of HMP Chelmsford or did the home office delivery the papers / info to release him into the community ?

TheaBrandt1 · 24/10/2025 19:10

They must be very set on committing these crimes because doing so is not in their best interests either. Makes no sense.

Not sure your comment is the flex you think it is. Being happy about a sexual offender walking free shows you up to be kind of person you must be.

They were men who committed crimes, the BBC doesn't actually have to say they are asylum seekers. Far more men who are not asylum seekers commit crimes against women every day. They aren't reported as 'man who a born and bred in UK commits crime'. why not ?

And David Lammy is hardly personally responsible for a mistale by a prison ( a prison system the tories had more than enough time to reform but did nothing about.)

This mindset is the reason why Reform are going to win the next general election and Farage is going to be the next Prime Minister.

Putting the interests of foreign criminals ahead of those of law-abiding British people. Putting the interests of illegal immigrants ahead of people who were born here. Change is coming. And this time it will be real change.

Throw some Cumberland sauce on them. That's the way to calm them down.

BreakingBroken · 24/10/2025 18:53

@ColinOfficeTrolley they would be safer.
It would be nice to have stats on if many offenders are 1st generation.
Most countries are fed up with free flow migration.

Here's a stat. Just over 40% of the white men arrested after the Southport riots, were domestic abusers. You know, the ones rioting because they were protecting women and children?

Just seen this story on the news, followed by the murder of a young mum by another asylum seeker. I am so angry.

Reading the details of what was done to the young mother has made me cry this evening. An ordinary woman, just working a minimum wage job to pay the rent and bills, having to use public transport to get home from her shift late at night. Stabbed in the head over twenty times with a screwdriver. Five year old left behind.

And getting upset about unvetted young men being put up in communities with no oversight is apparently racist. So many concerns about the rights of these men, zero concern about the safety of women and girls. It makes me despair. You just know that this won't change anything.

Some nationalities commit some crimes at disproportionate rates to the native British, that should not be ignored or swept under the rug

Bring it on, your top ten nationalities who are criminals. I'll help you.

  1. England

Same way that people who objected to male rapists in women's prisons were called far right bigots, intolerant etc
