Some strange views here. There have been murders and other violent and sexual crimes committed by people who are abusing a system to the detriment of genuine refugees. It isn't racist to want these men, coming via many safe countries to be refused leave to stay here. Its common sense.

I really couldn’t care if people are sky blue pink with yellow dots as long as they are decent human beings. And, if they have entered our country, are prepared to integrate and obey our laws. So I’m a bit surprised to find out that according to certain posters, I’m racist for not wanting an asylum seeker to attempt to get into my car while I’m sat waiting to pass the bus at the stop opposite where they are being housed.

As is the father of a 12 year old girl who called the police because she was being harassed by one of them in a shop. And the crowd of people who prevented an asylum seeker abducting a young girl in the town centre when she was just going home from work. And the people who stepped in outside a nightclub locally to prevent a woman being sexually assaulted by yet another asylum seeker.

And all the parents who were collecting their teenage daughters from the local comprehensive due to the level of abuse they were getting from the crowd of young men who were congregating outside the school at home time.

How terribly racist of us all to put our safety and that of our children above a group of men who entered our country illegally and have no intention of adapting to our way of life.

Now that they’ve found the guy, maybe the weirdo incel on this thread can turn up to the detention removal centre and protest against him being deported.

I think it explains what certainly i feel...Im not against immigration at all. The medical and caring professions for one, certainly in Ireland here, have a very high percentage of overseas staff. Philippines, Eastern Europe, the list is long.

They to a fault are lovely hardworking people and before I retired I absolutely loved the diversity and it was so interesting to see the little differences in cultures, mannerisms, all in a very positive way.

Its those young men arriving here from countries where women are treated like meat. Where are the women arriving? I dont see many. Why?

Thers a hotel a few miles from me that houses these men. In the houses opposite the girls have to get lifts to and from school as these men standing outside catcall and shout obscene things, they have been pawed while waiting at the bus stop and now can't go out and about freely in their own county.

For years I didn’t talk about what happened to me because I sensed it made
people feel uncomfortable- not just the sexual abuse, but that it was perpetrated by another , non white race. Come to think of it, similar stuff to what was/is at play with the grooming gang victims and the refusal to listen to them.

And talking of handmaidens ( apology for the digression ) I can’t take Margaret Atwood seriously because she set the Handmaid’s tale in a proto Christian community. If women are being controlled, invisibilised and reduced to their reproductive function it’s in Muslim countries especially Afghanistan.
