You literally couldn’t make this shit up.

This country is broken.

Reform should send David Lamey a big thankyou note for this gift.

Especially if it’s women speaking about safety.

Rhiannon and her son won’t be considered by pp at all either. On that, nothing.

Rubbish. The man who murdered her will be tried and go to prison, for however long he needs to be there. They will get justice.

That doesn’t mean you can use that scenario to further your own ethno-nationalist agenda and boot out every person who can’t trace their ancestory back to Alfred the Great.

Asylum seekers are not a danger to society.

No one is threatening you.
You think you can threaten others into silence about their legitimate concerns.
It won’t work any more.
Who do you think you are, thinking you can silence those in fear ?

Well said.

No, or the other girls and women raped and sexually harassed by these men, who are predators. Wilfully doing this under the cloak of asylum, which is now a ruined term, thanks to them.

Too late for her little boy. It won’t bring his mother back. Women speaking about their safety gets people angry.

You won’t be able to stop women speaking, too bad.

TheaBrandt1 · 24/10/2025 19:10

They must be very set on committing these crimes because doing so is not in their best interests either. Makes no sense.

I wonder whether they're commiting crimes here because they know they would be housed in a British prison, with access to free education/courses, free meals, better looked after than prisons in their home country, when they know there's a high chance of being deported otherwise?

Maybe that's a bit of a reach, and they are just thick/don't care about being caught/feel entitled to attack women, but the way that immigrant was dancing in the hotel corridor after stabbing Rihannon to death would indicate he wasn't worried about the consequences.

IsEveryUserNameBloodyTaken · 26/10/2025 08:41

Somerford · 26/10/2025 08:05

That is exactly what you've done. You literally said "this is on us" and that immigrants who commit rape and sexual assault are not responsible because they've been entrapped.

Just read back what she said.
Entrapment, our fault for being raped.
Wow just wow.

It worrys me that discussion is silenced by the word racist.

Discussion and communication if sensible and productive is always positive.

I don't see how David Lammy is personally responsible for this appalling cock up. I'm sure Reform and its groupies will be crowing about it though.

Is that honestly what you think? Reform supporters want to make the country safer, whatever party is in, and this "mistake" is truly shocking. I'm sorry to disagree with another Sooty lover though.

Wondering whether to laugh or cry really

Definitely privatisation has a lot to answer for.

I am so sorry you are having to witness this on a mainstream social media platform. Please note that for many of us you are loved, and you are cherished.

I would take a 1000 asylum seekers without question just to get rid of 1 racist.

Blow Your Mind Wow GIF by Product Hunt

Wait though. what if the 1000 other asylum seekers are also racist?

I agree that the system needs improving, definitely. It is an issue, you are right. But Reform are not the way forward - that's what I was trying to say.

But what is the way forward? I would say immigration is the most pressing issue for our country atm. Not really from an economic perspective, although the economic impact is huge, but from a societal perspective. Most of the undocumented immigrants are coming from countries whose view of the world is very different to our own, countries with embedded views we have worked and fought for centuries to over come. The people coming here might pay lip service to some of our values but do they really believe them? They don’t share our culture, every society needs a Shared culture of beliefs and values, shared reference points. Too much immigration destroys our society, and society, without society everything else you talk about is irrelevant. It’s not just about immigration- it’s the integration of people already here. We need to stop all this inclusivity bollocks. Primary schools, workplaces, councils, the media shouldn’t be celebrating every culture, they should be focusing on the culture of being British, to make sure Everyone, whatever country they or their ancestors originally came from focuses 100% on being part of the British culture. We need to stop droning on about allowing for cultural differences, there should be no room for that in the UK. If you choose to live here, this should also mean choosing its culture. This is important for social cohesion. Only Reform seem to have grasped this

merkinmanipulator · 26/10/2025 09:03

Swiftasthewind · 26/10/2025 08:14

The only people on this planet that I hate are racists. They are the lowest of the low, the worst of the worst, and every day society is making more and more of them because the government does not have the fortitude to tell its citizens that expressing hateful rhetoric on social media is not a right.

And now look what has happened. We have an immigrant woman on this very thread feeling threatened. Is this what you people wanted?

So you don't hate rapists? Or misogynists? Or homophobes?

rolloverbeethoven · 26/10/2025 09:05

Reform won't win because of tactical voting (aka dirty tricks). Saw it in Thanet,, now seen it in Caerphilly, the powers that be will do anything to keep the same two parties in power, and we know that they're just two faces of the same creature. It's very depressing.

rolloverbeethoven · 26/10/2025 09:07

It won’t bring her back though will it, and her son will have to live the rest of his life without his mother. What justice is there in that.
I find your dismissal of these terrible acts disgusting.
I also find your trying to silence others fears disgusting as well.
Whilst you are pontificating on your “philanthropic exercises” and boosting your ego, there are legitimate concerns that some asylum seekers are a danger to society.
I find your views abhorrent.

WildLimePoet · 26/10/2025 09:12

Swiftasthewind · 26/10/2025 08:31

Don’t think you can just reverse uno your way out of your racism by deflecting it all on to me. I am a vociferous advocate for open borders in my community and have undergone many philanthropic exercises to help disenfranchised people from communities across the globe. Always at personal cost without asking anything in return. My credentials speak for themselves, so it is laughable you want to hurl such an accusation against me.

You are above contempt.

Keep going. You have shown up the most hideous racism and misogyny. And by the way name changing to talk to yourself on the same thread is a bit pathetic and sad.

Just because everyone has shown you who you are, talking to yourself to pretend there are other batshit views out there like yours doesn’t wash with anyone.

Get help.
