Oooofff. I mean it might as well be called Fuck You David Harbour, You Cheating Bastard. Safe to say she’s set a new bar for diaristic songwriting. I feel so sad for her, I know she’s not everyone’s favourite person but it’s always been clear that all she wanted was to love and be loved and she seemed so happy with him- he popped up on her podcast with Miquita Oliver a few times and seemed so genuine in the way he spoke about her… for it to all collapse in such spectacularly public and hideous fashion must have been awful to endure, so I don’t blame her for working through it by going back to what she does best but still… blimey. I feel like I’ve been spying in their bedroom or something after listening to it!

From a purely artistic standpoint it’s not her best work, although I did feel that the autotune was being used as a production choice in the same vein as Charli XCX, rather than a very poorly disguised attempted at correcting her pitch. It’s definitely more an exercise in catharsis set to melody than her just flexing her musical muscles for the sake of creativity.

It is far more safe to use contraception than undergo multiple operations, easier too. Anesthesia risks alone are a real thing and not something to put yourself through lightly, esp when so easily avoidable.

I doubt DH will care - it's the Stranger Things final season plus he's in those Marvel things so he's a big star. I think Lilly just pretended to be a lady of the manor to nab him and then they were both screwed up. She's a known druggie and he seems to be as well.

And one could argue that a straightforward early termination of a pregnancy takes less of a toll on your body and your mental health than pumping it full of synthetic hormones for a long period of time or sticking various contraptions up your vagina. And we all know condoms aren’t foolproof.

I posted it because your reading comprehension was very poor. There was nothing in my short, simple message that could logically lead to "it's Lily Allen's fault that prostitution exists." Oooh I’ll give it a listen now. Lily Allen is one of those people who always shoots from the hip which means sometimes she’s really on the money and other times she says some really ill-judged crap. But she does have a really beautiful voice and has written some decent songs.

Why do people admire honesty? I don't know much about LA, but I really admire reticence and keeping your private life private.

Not a fan, I'm afraid (I used to like a couple of her albums many years ago, though). I just cannot warm up to her at all, though.

I do however think she genuinely loved DH and seemed a lot more grounded and stable around him, so for him to be do deceitful and pull the rug from under her feet is despicable. If he wasn't happy, he shouldn't have rushed into a marriage or cheat on her, and in the manner he did too. He's a totally cancelled man for me and I used to really like him as an actor.
