That’s it really

OP posts:
MidlandsGal1 · 23/10/2025 21:14

I like him

Horrace · 23/10/2025 21:16

He's my ideal man

Heylittlesongbird · 23/10/2025 21:40

i feel like he’s the sort of chap you convince yourself to have a pity shag with, it would be surprisingly fun and you’d get quite into him. Then he’d turn around from nowhere and turn you down, leaving you and your ego in bits.

Nolletimiere · 23/10/2025 18:22

Call it a hunch.

Looking forward to the Caerphilly results?

Not at all…

Considering his behaviour with his girlfriend and Harriet the woman he hired temporarily I don’t think he’s particularly misogynistic . I don’t think you have watched any of his stuff.

I have, though not recently. You’re kidding yourself if you think he’s not both misogynistic and racist. I don’t have to watch h8m to see what he’s written and done.

Pollqueen · 23/10/2025 19:03

You sound very jealous and bitter. He has a successful career, what's wrong with that?

Jealous? Of Clarkson? God no. And what would I be bitter about?
I just don’t like violent, racist, misogynist tax dodgers. It’s not that deep.

Your making it sound like it is that deep.

Mumsnet is full of the people you`re describing.

It’s lucky I’m perfectly calm, drinking a cuppa after a fun evening at the pub quiz (we won). Nobody in the history of ever has calmed down because someone told them to.
Why do you think I’m not calm? I’m very calmly saying what sort of characteristics I dislike in people.

Maybe so but fucking him would be a step too far I think.

Have you forgotten to take your tablets?

I didnt ask for your evening schedule. You sound like youve had a rough day the way you snap back.
Congrats on winning the pub quiz.
Saying the word calm so many times in one reply makes one think chill out.

It wasn’t televised or part of any episode so I have no idea what you are referring to.
The BBC sacked him for an unprovoked verbal and physical assault on a member of production staff.

It was

I’d hold a very low opinion of anyone who doesn’t find Jeremy Clarkson to be hilarious, brilliant, and generally a great English personality. He’s been a great friend to farmers, even here in Australia where we love him.

PermanentTemporary · 23/10/2025 23:52

I read an article though menopause brain stops me remembering why, who wrote it and where it was, pointing out that in fact he rather than Farage has the potential to be the British version of Trump. Not that we can have a leader descend from the top in the way that Trump did, but that he has a similar ‘appeal’. Seems right according to this thread.

CrystalSingerFan · 24/10/2025 00:09

I've just finished watching the iPlayer version of the Bolivia episode of Top Gear. Epic, awesome, brilliant. Love them all, including Jezza.

True English comedy genius.

ClareBlue · 24/10/2025 00:26

Are you bragging or crying for help?

He's undoubtedly very witty. Top Gear effectively ended when he was kicked off. Has done a fine job taking over Millionaire from Chris Tarrant too.

Those specials are unmissable. Comedy gold.

But wasnt he married then? Possibly to Wife no2 and the kids. So that might have been her decision.

It was most likely a double act for sure, but it was him, as I recall, writing about laying land mines to deal with bobble hatted ramblers, or something like that.

SassyCow · 24/10/2025 04:54

I'd rather drink his beer 😅

FelicityFeelsFine · 24/10/2025 05:31

You’re fucking him? Lucky you!

Clarkson was against Brexit unlike Trump and Farage. Also Clarkson plays a bumbling idiot on tv whereas Trump played an intelligent businessman on tv but in real life they’re the opposite. Clarkson reads books something Trump doesn’t do and has an interest in history. I’m sure Clarkson has some over lapping appeal but if he did step into politics which I can’t imagine him doing I think it’s unfair to say he’d be a British Trump.
