Just seen party political broadcast by the Green Party. Zack Polanski telling it like it is. Billionaires taking rhe pee out of the rest of us while they make money for doing nothing. And if we tax them we get told they' ll leave. Well good. I'll buy them a ticket and give them a map. At last a politician who isn't mealy mouthed. Am I right or am I right. Stuff Reform. Long live Zack.

Did you know that, given the tiny number of men who identify as trans, that a disproportionate number of them are in prison for sex offences?

Oh no, you can't say that! you'll be called a "transphobic loon".

David Paulden, the green Farage. Political con man.

Privately educated, affluent family, failed actor, life coach, hypnotist. Life long search for fame and status.

Joined the LibDems, wanted fast track to top roles, left in a huff when not selected.

Tells fools he can spin straw to gold.

Just about sums him up. So depressing.

Wow the Polanski propaganda machine really going for it on mumsnet

It's not going very well though, is it....

A bit like "Jo Swinson's Liberals " when the upshot of pushing her to the general public was "the more people got to know her, the less they liked her..."

I didn't really know anything about ZP until now, now I know he's truly awful. Thanks for the headsup @Daygloboo

Agree with this. Didn’t know anything about him either but glad I’ve been warned now 😅

Ddakji · 07/10/2025 13:55

I’ve just seen Polanski and the Greens referred to on X as “the Tit Wizard and his Commie Goons” which has totally made my day.

Ddakji · 07/10/2025 14:00

Oh, and at their conference today they voted to ignore the clinical findings of the Cass Review.

Disgusting, amoral people.

YouForgotToTurnItOff · 07/10/2025 14:06

Of course he wouldn't like the Cass Report - he is certainly not a commie though.

LooseCanyon · 07/10/2025 14:43

The only reasons that Polanski and Farage are being given air-time is that the rest of the leaders are so dreadful.

No one has mentioned he wants to legalise all drugs yet.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20e20rzje2o

Are you sure that the legalisation of drugs is a worse option than county lines gangs destroying lives up and down the country? Cuckooing, grooming, sending poor kids out to knife each other, rape, danger in parks and other local spaces? Or is it worth considering? I don’t like drugs and don’t take them but I can see a benefit in controlling supply

It just keeps getting worse.

BeachLife2 · 07/10/2025 16:05

Unfortunately Zack Polanski is just as extreme and delusional as Farage on the other side.

The idea that we can just magic all our problems away with a wealth tax is nonsense.

Unfortunately, many people have such poor critical thinking skills that they believe everything the likes of him and Farage tell them.

There is a massive housing crisis but sure let’s scream ‘communism’ every time someone proposes dealing with it.

There is a housing crisis because we don’t built anywhere near enough houses. That is largely due to the fact that it’s almost impossible to build anything due to NIMBYs.

CoraPirbright · 07/10/2025 16:13

From the Institute of Fiscal Studies “the top 10% of taxpayers paid 60% of all income tax in 2023-4”.

If billionaires all bugger off like you want, who is going to make up that short fall?

RainbowBagels · 07/10/2025 16:20

Daygloboo · 06/10/2025 19:52

That's a bit of an exaggeration..

Oh yeah because you can't hate something that doesn't exist, so how about ' The Greens hate non men'

SingleSexSpacesInSchools · 07/10/2025 16:23

Daygloboo · 06/10/2025 20:23

I rthonk that's a bit cynical. I think he is more sincere than that. You might not agree with some policies, but where does he come across as a charlatan?.. I dont see any evidence of that..He's a little awkward in his delivery perhaps..but not, imo, a snake oil salesman..

When he says your boobs can grow bigger, for £50 and a stare into your eyes (not around his eyes).

When he says men can turn into women like magic.

That's why he IS a charlatan. Fact.

I think legalising it would make it worse. I used ro live next to an alcoholic addict. The smell of his drugs was horrible,as was him wobbling about all over the place out of it . Also a couple of horrfic incidents of shouting snd banging and truly horrific vomiting sounds inside his place late at night a couple of times. I wss terrified. Also him hanging sbout with someone who later was in the paper having gone to prison for assault and drug dealing. And all that when drugs are illegal, so csn you even begin to imagine the horror for neighbours everywhere if these types suddenly thought they could do all this egally in full sight of everybody. There would be drink and drug fuelled parties on every street and rhe police wouldnt be able to do anything. I dont know what people are thinking when they say legalise it..

I don't think that is the only reason - the profit margin builders expect and lack of what they are willing to add in that doesn't make a profit for them is why so many don't want land near them built on. Lack of infastructure here has meant sewage overflows due to thousands of houses using old systems, traffic blocking roads, schools full, playgrounds never finished on the actual site - it's not helping communities but destroying them and adding costs on to the tax payer all for the profit of developers.

Yes, that's the problem. He'll draw people in because of his populism and empty sound bites

Taxicus · 07/10/2025 17:28

As a Green voter for years honestly I am now politically homeless.

Polarisation is eating everything.

I'm actually genuinely wondering if there's some sort of green party infiltration happening to completely undermine the party as it was, it was steadily growing and represented a threat.

Look at the 'Green Gathering' spy cops scandal if you think I'm mad to say that. Greens have always been seen by the establishment as a threat. Nothing would surprise me.

The Greens as they were were a minority yes, but added a voice that swayed conversation, now the Greens will become a voiceless rabid leftist extreme. A braying that people just tune out.

Extinction Rebellion in it's beginnings was intentionally a political, a very smart move and why it garnered do much support that did sheppard in change.

They are going for the yoof vote the greens. This is what young people want because they can't see the bigger picture.

Something I read on a GC Greens Facebook today which I thought, spot on...

"Democratic insiders thought people would vote for Kamala Harris, even if they didn’t like her, to get rid of Trump. But more people ended up voting for Trump, even though many didn’t like him, because they liked the Democratic Party less."

The Greens think half their party will hold their noses and vote for them but I think they've got this wrong.

Comments today about doing away with private landlords.. Both not possible and foolish

Please please bring back the party that put ecology and the environment first and leave the ideology at the door.

Rang my mum another long time green voter and supporter today. Can't see us voting green.

finallygettingit · 07/10/2025 17:57

presumably somebody is reading this on behalf of Zack Polanski
I hope they take notice
especially of those posters like me who are members/supporters of the greens but will not vote for them
