Very much wanting to go to Japan. No idea where to start planning a trip but I suppose I should make a list of things I want to see and try and then line it all up with trains etc.
Best place I've visited so far is Kos or Crete - lovely people and beaches and things of interest.

I was so annoyed when our school trip to Moscow got canceled in the 1980s. Then I developed a burning desire to visit St Petersburg which I finally did in 2008. So glad I did, would love to go again. Hopefully one day, when the world is calmer...

Really would love to go to New Zealand. Just can’t put myself through that amount of flying though! Maybe one day I’ll brave it, or have the money to do it in business class - but that’s unlikely!
Best place I’ve been - South Africa. Cape Town, the Winelands, Kruger National Park, the Durban coastline, the food… I could go on.

I would really like to visit Socotra.The scenery and plants look incredible. Sadly that is not likely to happen with the current political situation in that part of th world.
